“3 O’ clock and all’s well,” Kattz stated in response to his contemporaries after a moment.
In the meantime, the dark blue creature started moving again until she was close enough that she could slip right up near Kattz. As she began to pass behind him, Kattz tilted his head just a bit in her direction.
“Exepting Nil here,” he added.
As the beastly Nil went behind Kattz, she appeared to vanish completely from view, which made no sense, as she was obviously longer than he was wide. Soon after however, she emerged from the other side of him, appearing as a small, boney, blue-grey skinned woman. Very little gave away that was she in fact the same being but her yellow-and-cyan eyes. After this, Kattz looked in her direction, apparently expecting her to speak for herself by now. It wasn’t long before it was clear she wouldn’t, he cleared his throat and tried to keep the discussion rolling;
“Anyway. I do cast doubt upon the decision to have me out alone,” he pontificated, “Not that I can’t fight. But, the palace does have a lot of ground to cover.”
