"Well. This makes my job so much easier." Frollo said to himself. No need for him to report if the Crow was already there. Frollo turned back to his paperwork and left the group alone. If that thing had any useful information. Crow will find it.

Chloe eyed the four individuals and was frustrated no one paid attention to her. She said loudly " Hey guys. Here is the thing. You may not like me, but I'm here now."
She asked " Tabs, Frollo, Crow and Lindsay what is going on?"

“Like you? We hardly even know you” The older shepherd walks softly down the hallway towards the group taking a seat next to the bench that the Dalmatian had seated herself upon he eyes the bone for a second before continues speaking “from the looks of it we have a newcomer“ his muzzle turns to greet the odd looking alien creature, nodding in greeting.

Post by Tabs on Aug 18, 2018 16:56:18 GMT
Tabs’s eyes became half-lidded. He wasn’t sorry. No sir. He hardly enjoyed what he took as an attack on his privacy. As far as he was concerned, corrupting the fellow alien’s gadgets was self-defense.
At least one of his eyebrows quivered in response to the noise. Given what he had to go through with his master, he’d gotten quite good at just standing there and waiting out loud sounds. Usually, it was the only option he had. His choice to stoically wait was a highly conditioned response.
When he spotted Crow from the corner of his admittedly rather limited field of vision, he took a step to one side: a small step, just to make it clear he was still involved. Tabs seemed to distract himself for a moment, looking concentrated as he combed some of the exposed hair on his wrists and pulled his tie tighter around his neck; it was like he wanted to make sure he looked immaculate. After this, he turned his heads toward Lindsay again.
“I can make myself quite insufferable when it suits me,” said the tv-face, and then sounded more genuine than he had been until then, “If you, perhaps, need your tech repaired, I would be glad to take a look at it... if you agree to elaborate a bit, once you’re able to speak in a way we can understand of course. How’s that for a deal?”
A leg muscle twitched when the animal made themselves known again. It would fly in the face of what Tabs felt were his duties to be outright hostile, but the canine’s words grated on him. He slowly turned his four faces down, and smiles grew so large they could almost be mistaken as snarls.
“Ma’am. We’re just having a nice chat thank you,” he stated, his tone coming off as saccharine but lightly reprimanding.

Post by Marius on Aug 18, 2018 17:38:41 GMT
Marius had been conversing with Crow for a short time as he was in the library. He found it quite comfortable being surrounded by many tomes and the company of someone experienced within the Legion; it was a grand opportunity to learn.
Of course, his thoughts grind to a halt like a runaway train as the sounds of what he assumed was a mouth of hell opening up in the Palace as he fell back from his chair, clutching his ears. Certainly not a....graceful moment for him, but grace was far from his mind as he laid down on the floor to recover.
Crow had already left, assuming he went to check out what the bloody noise was.
Marius couldn't really tell over the ringing in his ears at the time.
Now, fully recovered and cloak smoothed out, he had left the library to go to the courtyard. He didn't want to miss what was going on.
"Sir Crow, what happened just then...?" His voice trailed off as he saw the ship in front of him. He had never seen a vehicle like it before.
He puts a hand on his chin, musing curiously.
"...Friend of yours...?"

As soon as more bodies began to convene on the courtyard, the alien seems to tense slightly. Talk about a welcoming party... Ugh, she’d just wanted to repair her ship, maybe get info on a few species, and go. But no, the one creature that she had to scan had data powers. Grand. Now her ship was damaged and her information grid was rebooting. It was a good thing she backed up that last planet. That would have been years of research, gone in an instant...
Eyes flick slightly between the two suited individuals as they banter, Square and Triangle, keeping track of their conversation. Observing, taking mental notes. Ruin takes, could the destructive one be any more infatuated? But then there’s a mention of repairing her tech, and gaze turns sharp and narrow. There’s a noise here, obviously displeased with the idea, before she seems to murmur something. There’s a moment of stillness, before the darkness of her ship seems to bubble up behind her. All at once, about a dozen small, dark creatures tumble out, spilling down the stairs clumsily and dropping what they’s been carrying: a simple book and pen. Lindsay seems to disregard them as they scramble up her legs in an attempt to return to the darkness, instead opening the notepad and beginning to write.
Eventually, she seems pleased enough, and offers the book forward, open to her writing. It’s in solid, sharp text, almost like printed font. But one thing is certain; it’s in English.
It will take more than an apology to pardon the destruction of my database, but the motion is appreciated, the note states, I did not select this location lightly, my ship is damaged and it shouldn’t be moved. If the damage progresses, it could very easily destroy this whole settlement. I can repair it on my own, I will just need time. As for assistance, while that would progress repairs at a faster rate, I would not like your acquaintance touching any of my equipment. If they are so virulently against a species database scan, I can’t imagine what damage they could do to something more vital.
Also, is it common for all of your lesser creatures to speak like that?

Crow gave the slightest tip forward, taking his time to read over the alien's remarkably well-printed text. There was a brief pause, with only the faintest twitch to indicate that he was reading her message at all. After a moment, he gave a small hum as he straightened back out, balancing his weight against his cane.
"To answer your last question first: Ideally, no." The last word pulled itself from Crow with a sudden shift in tone. His mask tilted, regarding the pup that spoke out of turn. There was a certain noted irony in her demand for attention and complete lack of situational awareness in the same breath. Fortunately, the others had been quick to scold her, with no need for further action on his part. Yet. He continued with addressing the matter at hand.
"Secondly, as I've stated before, your choice of landing is precarious, to say the least." The politer cadence in his voice returned, though perhaps a bit more straightforward this time, as Crow covered the remainder of her note. "While I'm sure the events of one planet often has little bearing to the rest of the universe - especially one as remote as Earth - the fact remains you've landed in the middle of a war. Without completely knowing what your machines are intended for, your motives, or your knowledge prior, my associates were only going to react appropriately." Crow made a broad gesture to the alien's unique welcoming wagon as they were mentioned.
"If what you say about the danger your ship poses is true, I can give you the space you need to see to its safe repair." His hand lifted to preemptively pause any potential interruptions. "However - and I'm sure you understand - you'll have to remain under supervision."
"We can stay out of your way, but we can't exactly give anyone that drops into the palace free reign of the grounds, now can we?"

Tucker stares at the spotted dog ever so confused at her words.
“Um, I didn’t?” Tucker says, his brow raised “but I will now-uh welcome I guess?” His head cocks at her before glancing over at the others.
“Lift? What do you mean lift? You one of those dogs that pull stuff in a strength show or something?” So many questions ran through the ex police dog’s head right now “I came to join the army in hopes they could help find my master Steven, I was a police dog you see and I escaped the pound, have been searching for him ever since”

" Oh what a mean by lift is pull with my teeth, I can pull anything, put me to the test and I will prove it to you. " Chloe said to Tucker.
She heard what Tucker said about his Master Steven. " Oh is he a cop like you or owner? " Chloe said.
