April 5th
Jenn sat cross legged on her bed in pajamas, wings sitting in a relaxed position behind her. She had invited some of the other girls in the Rogues to have a girls night in. She needed something to do, since she was "grounded" after her little adventure at the Fantasia bar. Realistically, she could simply leave at any time. Hades knew this just as well as she did, but she took the situation in stride, actually somewhat thankful for an excuse to take some time to relax.
Relax, and bug the Tartarus out of Hades any time he asked her to do adviser work. "I can't go to Paris right now, I'm 'grounded' remember." It was amusing to say the least, to see Hades' growing regret of making the decision to keep her under house arrest for a week.
After a couple days of this however, it had begun to get stale, she needed something else to do beside bug Hades and play with Cerberus. She had enjoyed her time with the girls at the Fantasia bar, and felt that it would be nice to have a girls' night with some of the other Rogues. Plus she was sure it would probably bug Hades some more too.
And now they had just begun a game of truth or dare. "Uh... Truth, I guess...?"

“I told you she’d pick truth!”
Taylor playfully nudged Sophia’s shoulder, and Sophia simply rolled with the nudge, her body firmly rooted to the ground, forelegs tucked under her chest, and her back legs folded under her. She rolled her eyes and looked at the young woman, with a smirk on her face.
“Careful Taylor. We wouldn’t want Bob to know what you do at--!”
“Alright, alright, let’s just get back to the game.” Taylor said, as she slowly removed her hand from the unicorn’s muzzle. She then focused back on Jenn, with a devious grin on her face. Taylor was glad to have been invited to keep Jenn company along with the other girls, just because it was nice to have a night off, and she had never seen the Underworld before. Taylor leaned forward, keeping her cross legged position, as she rested her chin on interlocked fingers.
“So…tell us, when are you and Hades finally going to stop screwing around and just kiss already?” Taylor asked.

Well... This was both confusing yet interesting. Rhea didn't know much as to why her son's newest beau was under house arrest except that she somehow got teleported somewhere else and some other things that caused trouble so the angel was now stuck in the underworld. Tartarus, if you wanted to be technical about it. The whole place made her feel uneasy, but this was the place where many were damned to go to when they died and their souls departed from the mortal world, so that was a given. It didn't help that the underworld was the very prison to many of her siblings, but that was neither here nor there.
'This entire game is so confusing.' The elderly titan thought to herself as the whole thing went on, and she just sat idly a few inches away. Wasn't there some more... interesting and fulfilling to do instead of this? But when Taylor asked that one question, that had her attention immediately. Did she just- Did she just ask as to when Hades and Jenn were to admit love for each other!? The titan leaned forward out of amusement and curiosity, but a little bit of concern as well.
"As... amusing as that question is, considering I am Hades' mother and wish him to be happy," She suddenly said towards Taylor. "Isn't that a bit invasive? I would like my son to at least admit his feelings, but on his own accord." Not exactly helping the situation there, Rhea!

“That’s the point, Big Mama.”
Shanty can’t help the small hum of amusement in her voice, letting loose a playful plume of smoke from her spot laying on the floor. While Shanty was more than curious about Jen’s little escapade elsewhere, sticking it to Death Himself was also pretty fun. Especially if it included games such as this. It was almost tradition, after all, that girls having sleepovers play Truth or Dare.
“Either she does a dare, or we get to pry into her juiciest secrets. Them’s the rules~ Even if he is your son, we’re all curious. They’re both stubborn as mules about it, so now’s our chance! Capital choice, Taylor.”
It was... odd, really, to see the Captain in such plain attire. A simple shirt, some loose pants... really, it was the best she could do. It’s not like she slept any. No need for pajamas.

Gods dammit, she nearly spit out her drink when Taylor nabbed first shot at asking a question. Coughing, she attempted to clear her airway, all the while shooting the girl a look, "Excuse me?" "Excuse me??" she coughed again, her look changing from one of embarrassment to bewilderment. While she couldn't deny to herself she had developed feelings for a certain god, she wasn't aware she had shown any sign of it, and she certainly wasn't aware of any chance of her feelings being reciprocated.
Oh for heaven's sake- Jenn slumped back against the wall, wings curling slightly around herself. She was already regretting picking this game. "Alpha, screw all of y'all. Beta, I changed my mind, dare."

Post by Belle on Oct 7, 2018 17:59:07 GMT
There had never been any other women of Belle's age that had taken any sort of liking to her before -- not in the casual way of friendship. Belle had the castle staff, but they kept some level of distance the closer she'd gotten to the master of their estate.
So 'sleepovers' weren't really a thing the French maid had ever become accustomed to.
Dressed in a plain nightgown beneath a loosely-tied dressrobe Belle had found herself a seat on the ground, back leaning against the bed. It was a position that forced her to crane her head back in order to follow the current thread of conversation, but she simply sipped at her drink. Here she was playing truth-or-dare in the literal Greek Underworld alongside women both human and god alike.
Everything was relative, she supposed.
Belle's lips curled up into a playful smile. "Alright, how about a dare to tell him how you feel?" Had Belle ever witnessed the pair together? No. But this was apparently something that the majority in the room had noticed, so evidently there had to be something there.

Taylor couldn't help but grin impishly as Jenn grew visibly embarassed, surpressing a laugh. She winked at Shanty, before taking a few more sips from her glass of rum. True, no one had said anything about bringing alcohol, but what was girls' night without a little bit of boozy fun?
Sophia watched the scene with a bemused smile, as the entire thing reminded her of trying to get Bob to admit to the fact that yes, he did have a crush on the unicorns that would eventually become his boyfriends.
Then came Belle's question, which nearly caused Taylor to spit out her drink in surprise. Her dark brown eyes fell on the French girl, and she couldn't help but smile. She definitely liked this one, she had some guts. Belle was new to their little group of friends within the Rogue army, but Taylor could already tell that she'd fit in just fine.
"Well, it's a dare Jenn. You've gotta do it now, that's how the game goes." Taylor said, leaning forward with a Chesire cat-like grin.
"Unless...you want to forfeit your turn, and we'll hang a sign around your neck that says chicken." Taylor purred, taking another sip of the rum.

The elderly titan had to stifle a laugh, which came out as more of an amused chuckle in her throat. Oh, now things were getting rather interesting! The newest woman to join the rogues (Belle, if she remembered correctly) certainly had guts, or at least had some courage to dare the angel of such a thing when she decided to drop the truth aspect of the game and go towards dare. Though, Rhea didn't exactly like the look of that cheshire grin from Taylor. The mortal certainly was something. The titan leaned forward more, careful to keep her shawl on her nightly dress.
"Jenn," Rhea spoke up, with that motherly but amused tone in her voice as if she had caught one of her children doing something bad. "It's likely to best just take the dare or wear that sign across your neck and look like a fool for forfeiting your turn. But it is your choice, my dear."
Rhea's strong suits certainly didn't include matchmaking, but if it involved her children and making one of them happy (and make them marry someone who wasn't related to them was a plus), oh, she sure was to try and as subtly as she could make that match or matches!

Grumbling, Jenn untangled herself from the blankets on her bed as she stood.
Scanning the snack pile, she grabbed a pomegranate from the fruits that were there and strode over to the door, flinging it open. “Hades!” she bellowed down the hall. “What!?” was his reply as he appeared around the corner, only to be smacked in the face with the fruit. “OW! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?” “BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPLE*!” Jenn shouted back. “...What?”
Growing clearly frustrated, feathers fluffed in embarrassment, Jenn let out a grumble of curses as she ran her hands through her hair, before looking up and letting out a sharp, "I... fucking... I like you, alright!? There, I said it... geez..." she quickly turned and stalked back into her room in a huff, flopping down on the bed and wrapping herself up in a winged cocoon so she didn't have to see her friend's smirking and amused faces.
Hades appeared in the doorway only moments later, giving everyone in the room a look of 'someone explain what the hell that was about'.
(* throwing an apple at someone was seen as a declaration of love in ancient greece, though it was usually a man throwing one at a woman)

Both Taylor and Sophia watched with amusement as Jenn followed through with the dare, chucking a rather sizeable pomegranate at Hades down the hall. She then returned back to where she'd been sitting, and promptly wrapped herself into a coccoon with her purple wings.
Taylor reached out and rested her hand on the angel's shoulder, trying to comfort her somewhat.
"See? Didn't that feel good to just---"
Hades then appeared in the doorway, arms crossed and obviously annoyed.
"We're playing truth or dare Hades." Sophia said, as if he should've already known. She then turned her attention back to Taylor, with a smirk upon her face.
"But see, while Taylor's bothering poor Jenn to reveal her true feelings, I happen to know that Taylor's got some feelings for a certain person too." Sophia said.
Taylor's eyes grew wide, and she moved to try and cut Sophia off, but the unicorn managed to finish her sentence, promptly crossing one hoof over the other in a neat manner as she offered the girl a smug smile.
"I don't have feelings for him! We're just friends!" Taylor yelped in response.
