Ah, how cute. Love on the battlefield.
Golden gaze shifts ever so slightly as Lindsay’s head tilts, observing the two boys as they speak to each other. So young... neither could be older than 21, she wagered. So early in life, to be on a battlefield...
Such a shame.
Lithe, dark arm raises to horizontal, fingers gently outstretched toward the pair’s direction. There’s a moment of hang here, before the dark material shudders violently. Her forearm completely deforms, pulling back before firing forward like a bullet. Dark tendril weaves and twists, spiraling straight for Jay.
Such a shame, really.

The sight of Frollo's vacant eyes was enough to tie Nasira's insides in knots. He had gone away again. A chill went through her. "Frollo!" Nasira's sharp voice cracked like a whip, but the old man's face had gone slack. "FROLLO!" She might as well have been addressing a toadstool. In fact, a toadstool would have been more responsive than this shell of a man! Nasira took a slow, frustrated breath through her nose.
"He's at it again," she groaned to no one in particular, turning away in disgust. Frollo's inattentiveness was going to get them all killed! Even if he sprung back right this second, he was done. She was going to make sure of that. At least someone knew how to do their job. Nasira nodded gratefully to Tucker. "Our commander is...tired." The last word left her lips as a bitter sneer. "Please escort him to his tent, and make sure he stays there," she ordered. "We don't want him wandering off." Allah forbid something happens to their precious Hammer of God.
Suddenly, the purple-winged angel swooped down to her level, sword in hand, eyes blazing. Nasira raised an eyebrow. Oh this ought to be good. Nasira made a tsking sound. "Are you always so rash, or do you just show off when I'm around? You're no match for me," she said dismissively, waving a hand as if to dispel any doubt. "And I've had my fill of delusions, thank you." Her scepter materialized in her left hand.
Speak of the devil. Nasira gave Frollo a scathing look. "Good of you to join us," she snapped as the general unsheathed his sword to help dispatch the harpy. The steel shimmered, and the air around it seemed to shine, as if from heat.
Smiling malevolently, Nasira raised her staff to blast the angel from the sky - permanently.
"Hack off her wings."

Frollo turned to Nasira. From Snowball's back, he was quite higher up than she was, perhaps he could knock her out or something. With her staff raised at Jenn, it was now or never.
"Having a hard time?" Roland snarked. "If you can't do it, then let me take over. I will handle it."
Frollo thought to the sword, "Then go ahead."
Roland soundly agreed. "Man, all this trouble for one little necromancer. What is she to you anyway?"
Frollo thought back, "If you were truly part of me, you would already know the answer."
"True, but I want you to say it. Or rather, think it. "
"No matter, do your business," Frollo replied.
He turned his blade at Nasira, his eyes glowing white. "Unfortunately for you, my lady, it is your wings that have to be ripped apart."
Roland, who was now in control of Frollo's body, slashed at Nasira, unleashing some of the sword's Holy magic, stunning her in the process. He turned to Jenn and said, "I am Roland, nephew of Charlemagne, Wielder of the Holy sword Durandal, of the Holy Order of Paladins that have sworn to fight by the side of Good throughout the ages. I have freed the Hammer of God from the wicked witch's influence. I shall aid you in this battle against these fiends. All that I request in return is sanctuary within the walls of Notre Dame."
Roland then turned to Nasira and in both his and Frollo's voice, said, "Too bad you were unable to banish me, foul necromancer! But no matter."
Then he turned to Jenn one last time. "Angel, to prove my words true, let me show you with my conviction." He took out the Bible enchanted by Maleficent, Threw it in the air and with 3 quick swipes of his blade, destroyed it. What magic left in it roared brightly in green flame and burned the remnants to ashes.
"Let us rout these miscreants!" Roland/Frollo yelled, and rode Snowball to Surround Nasira from behind.

"Please escort him to his tent, and make sure he stays there," she ordered. "We don't want him wandering off."
“Of course Nasira” Tucker nods and was just about to grab onto Frollo’s robes with his teeth when the man finally snapped out of his trance. Tucker steps back, his brow raised as he turns now distracted by Jenn swooping towards them. His hackles raise and a soft growl leaves his throat ready to help fight off the angel.
Out of the corner of his eye Tucker saw Frollo lunge at Nasira slashing the sword at her.
“Nasira!” He barks out in panic as suddenly he realized Frollo has either finally gone nuts or it has something to do with the sword. He glares up at the priest.

Post by Kula on Nov 17, 2018 5:41:56 GMT
Kula wasn't as experienced as the rest. She wasn't a hardened veteran or a soldier with scores of kills under her belt. All she held claim to was the death of a brother, a handful of skirmishes, and the history of a successful hunter. What she held was promise.
In her relative youth the lioness had been relegated to remaining back as a guard to the superiors; watching their backs in the case of attack. Many of the higher-ups were notably powerful within the realms of their magicks but even they might be felled by a well-placed attack or a strike on a blind spot.
This was why, when Frollo stiffened at Nasira's side, Kula was near enough to watch what followed. Stationed at the rear her mismatched eyes flicked from one to another with the slightest narrowing. Nasira she knew and respected. The other -- that Frollo -- she had laid the blame for her father's death at his primly clad feet. He was an overseer still though. Recompense could not be taken, forcing Kula to bite back her grief and fury while Frollo walked unmolested.
It would come as no surprise then that the lioness was more than eager when Frollo's sword swung not towards the flying humanoid but his own ally. Her body stiffened in shock -- not surprise that he had turned on them -- but the sheer shock that she would be presented with such a chance at her very paws.
Deep from her chest a threat rumbled as the lioness sprang forward, crossing the yards separating her from her prey.
Two strides, one stride, then -- a leap.
Revenge for her father as well as the spurned honor of the Blackblood Legion tasted as sweet as the blood lighting upon her tongue as Kula's final stride carried her through the air onto Snowball's back. Her claws hooked into the now-unconscious man, her jaws searched for purchase where shoulder met neck, and the momentum of the lioness' leap carried feline and priest back down for a bone-jarring crash to the dirt.

Rungnir grunts as he was suddenly slammed into, sliding across the ground the dire wolf gets to his feet and gives out a savage snarl at the Dalmatian.
“You’ll pay for that you spotted cur” he hisses, lips peeled back to show off his fangs.

The boy had barely walked a few feet before he saw a dark blur out of the corner of his eye, and before he even had a moment to react, Jay was violently struck by Lindsay. The impact sent Jay to the ground with a heavy thud and a shrill cry of pain. Quickly, it muffled under the morphing black mass as it covered his mouth and his face, and Jay writhed around frantically in her grasp, struggling to breathe and desperately trying to break free.
Darren saw this happen in what felt like the blink of an eye, and instinctively a scream -- of shock, agony, fury-- ripped from the boy's chest. For a moment, he felt locked in place, just staring in horror as this creature attacked his boyfriend. He had just promised they would be okay! He watched Jay struggle under her grasp, each cry of fear and pain stabbing his heart.
Shock quickly turned into anger. He whipped his head toward Lindsay. He was furious. This creature-- this thing-- would not hurt his Jay. Over his dead body.
"LET GO OF HIM, YOU BITCH!!"
He screamed, almost like a war cry, lunging toward Lindsay, and violently swung his sword at her; he was not aiming to kill, only to stun her enough to loosen her grasp on Jay so they could get away. They were going to be okay. He would make sure of it.

Post by Jenn on Nov 17, 2018 13:47:53 GMT
Jenn let out an almost good humored chuckle, if it wasn’t for the hostile undertone lacing her voice, “No match? I beg to differ. If it wasn’t for your little magic trick-” She broke off her taunting when the man next to Nasira asked her what to do. The necromancer ordered him to attack her. To hack off her wings, specifically. The angel prepared herself to fend of an attack from the two of them, but that never came, as the man turned on his ally instead. His sword, which seemed to have some magic power, had stunned the woman, then he turned to address her directly. Jenn blinked, the glow of her grace fading slightly as she gave a confused look. That was quite a lot of info to have dumped onto you, a bunch of names and titles that meant nothing to her. The only thing she really caught worth noting was his offer to help her in the battle, and asking for sanctuary. Her brows furrowed in confusion. This man had just turned on his ally, and practically pledged himself to helping her. She shook her head, she could argue the morality of this all later. As the screams of both Blackbloods and Rogues filled the air, she saw an opportunity, and took it. In a bright flash of white, where the somewhat human looking angel once was, was now a creature that looked not of this world. The only real tell that it was still even the angel the Rogues knew was the purple wings, which were now considerably larger, as in this form she towered over pretty much everyone in the battlefield. Her gaze was locked on the small group of Blackblood soldiers in front of her. She took note of the lioness that had jumped the man and pulled him from his horse. While she didn’t exactly trust this stranger, he had helped the Rogues, and asked for protection. She could honor that request this one time, until after the battle when there was time to talk with Clopin about the whole situation. Eyes giving off the same grace-glow as her other form, she lowered her face to look closer at Kula, the lack of expression perhaps making her even more unnerving than if she looked angry. “That is mine now, you will let it go.”Her voice seemed to vibrate and echo from nowhere yet everywhere, which was curious as she seemingly had no mouth to speak from. Raising a tiny nub like paw, she tapped at the side of the lioness, sending a jolt of holy power that would be not unlike the feeling of an electric shock. Her gaze then turned to Nasira, the foe which she had come to address in the first place, the glow in her eyes becoming more intense, “No match, you said. Yet here we are. You have lost the upper hand, and one of your men has betrayed you,”She reared back on her hind legs, wings stretched out in a threatening display of power, “It would be in your best interest to leave, while you still can.”She then fired a warning shot at the necromancer, a jolt of pure holy energy, not unlike the one she had used on the murder of crows in the battle of Australia.

Rungnir just stands still as the canine rushes towards him, his golden eyes glint from under his mask before he adjusted the grip on his blade that he was holding and swings, if his aim was right the blade would slice near the canine's chest or even legs, did the wolf want to cut off this mutt legs? no, but if it would help with taking her down faster, more power to him. ”Do not interfere” he murmured for the record his sword looks something like this
