Full Name: Brutus Utriculus
Known Aliases: The Gourmand
Army: Freedom Fighters
Rank: Peacekeeper (Engineer/Weapons Expert)
Franchise: The Little Mermaid
Gender: Intersex (he/him pronouns)
Age: Yes
Personality:
The Gourmand is bitter first of all. The Gourmand is a typical villain and can hold a grudge like no one's business. He would rather linger in misery forever than have to die. His deep cunning voice, conquest-focused intelligence, imposing girth and the hot temper that’s always bubbling beneath the surface makes him a menacing figure to deal with. He appears to be eloquently spoken and respectable, but his reactions toward opposition are, frankly, childish. Although he pretends to be patient at times, the Gourmand hates to wait and has a downright explosive temper should he be pushed too far. The Gourmand only outwardly shows love for food and machines; very rarely for any living thing. Thoughts of overcoming his foes give the merman giddy joy. The Gourmand knows deep down his evil and vengeful ways have led him to be alone, but he believes it's too late for him to change.

Backstory:
The Gourmand, like many merfolk, lived in Atlantica under the rule of the sea king. Even to start, the Gourmand wasn't easy to get along with. Though, he did earn a spot in the royal guard. When Ursula was banished, the Gourmand was treated with caution due to his appearance. Don't think he didn't notice that. Despite this, he rose in the ranks of the guard until eventually he came into close contact with King Triton on the regular. Triton didn't like the jellyfish creature; especially not after the Gourmand made his bloodlust obvious. Fearing the Gourmand was dangerous, Triton exiled him from Atlantica. The Gourmand attempted to resist violently, but was no match for the Trident. As a result of his attempted rebellion, his tentacles were left handicapped; weakened to the point that he could hardly swim. He was thrown into a trench. But the Gourmand would not be so easily defeated. After he managed to get hold of the right ingredients, he cast a magic spell on a barnacle-encrusted stone, enchanting it and using it to ride around in.
His mobility returned, the Gourmand declared war on all merfolk and set to work gathering an army of deepsea creatures and crafting weaponry most sinister. He spent years raiding and murdering whenever the opportunity arose. The Gourmand gained a fearful reputation as a warlord. Eventually, the danger of this merman was too great to be ignored. The Atlantica guard and King Triton himself set out to put an end to the warlord's terror. Though he had grown into a frightful villain over the years, the Gourmand once again found his match at the pointed ends of the Trident. This time, he was exiled from all the oceans, blown away with a great water spout.
The Gourmand's morals don't exactly mesh with the Freedom Fighters to say the least, but, wounded and beached, he wasn't in much of a place to resist.

Notes: Like many jellyfish, the ends of his fifteen tentacles are venomous. Touching them causes great pain and paralysis. The venom itself isn't deadly, but the temporary paralysis might cause trouble, especially in the water. Paralysis lasts about a minute and pain lingers for much longer. It takes one day to produce more venom after it's been used.
