Let's make a deal

[Hades]

Hades let out a huff of amusement when Meg mentioned the possibility of the war never ending. Mortals really did have such a limited view. War ends, then another war takes it's place not long after. Most of the time, Ares had something to do with it.

He gave a nod when she agreed to his condition, adding her own option of however many years he decided to set.
"20 years, or until the war ends," he echoed, holding his hand out for her to shake, to seal their deal.

[Megara]

Megara looked down at his hand, her heart pounded wildly. 'Last chance to back out...' she thought to herself. But... then his face came to her. His pale and sallow face. Twisted in pain...

"Deal," Megara said with resolve and gripped Hades's hand firmly giving it a shake.

There was no going back now. She made a deal with the devil, and she would honor it. Whether she liked it or not...

[Jenn]

Jenn leaned over the back of the couch, head resting on her arms as she watched with interest as Meg gave her soul away. She tilted her head, wondering what it was like to have one's soul be in someone else's possession. She thought she saw a momentary flash of hesitation in Meg's eyes, but it was gone just as quickly, she could very well have just imagined it.

When Meg and Hades' hands met, there was a bright flash of light, signifying the transfer of soul possession. Hades flashed a smirk,
"Alright, a deal's a deal," he said, snapping his fingers, "Your boyfriend is officially off the Underworld doorstep, your soul belongs to me now, bada-bing we can call it a day."

[Megara]

Megara gasped. She felt like her very breath had been sucked from her lungs. It hurt and for an infinite moment she couldn't breath. Her chest was so tight and she needed ai-

And then the light disappeared and air rushed into her lungs so susdenly, Megara staggered back. She took huge gulps, desperate lungfuls of air... she still felt strangely... hollow.

"G-good," she stood straight as her heart settled and composed herself again, "I have to go back to see him. Its a bit of a trip. But I'll come back and start working when I return. I swear it."

[Hades]

Hades shrugged, "Not a problem," he told her, before snapping his fingers, teleporting her back to the Pridelands in an instant.
Letting out a small, tired sigh, he walked over and sat down on his chair.

Jenn turned and sat back against the couch, tilting her head,
"Do you really think she'll come back here now that her boyfriend is better?"

Hades looked at her and chuckled,
"Babe, she won't have a choice."
