Physical Description:
Very slender and lanky, but not terribly tall, Hector is decidedly built for agility and speed rather than physical might, though he's not weak. He has black hair kept in loose braids, and fair skin. His chartreuse eyes are ringed by dark circles that make him look somewhat bedraggled.
Personality:
Morally grey and chaotic neutral are two terms that could be used to quite accurately describe Hector. He tends to come off as sadistic and cold, driven by duty and loyalty to whatever cause he's pledged himself to. And while it is true that he can be a merciless and unpredictable man, he is not without his charm and compassion. He holds family and alliegance over all else, and places a great deal of importance on authority and loyalty to his allies.
However, he is also cold as the winter wind when it comes to dealing with betrayal and backstabbing. He will not waver in his loyalty, but should you prove yourself disloyal or dishonest, he wont hesitate to deal with you. This steadfast loyalty makes him a good ally to whoever takes his favor, and a dangerous enemy to anyone that crosses him or his people wrong.
Hector is a sarcastic and cynical man with little belief in myth and what he considers fairytales. He can be slick with his words and charming when he wants to be, or an absolute thorn in the side of anyone he decides to play around with.
Backstory:
A warrior in servitude to King Edmund during the lifetime of the Dark Kingdom, for many years after the fall of the kingdom he remained a dutiful protector of the Dark Kingdom, even after the rest of the brotherhood seemed keen to run to the four winds. He became almost obsessively dedicated to the task of keeping anyone from finding the Dark Kingdom.
After his defeat in the Great Tree, his path brought him to the warring lands, where he waits poised to see which ruler he deems worthy of his devotion.
Known Family: None known, the members of the Dark Brotherhood were family to him, but after the brotherhood disbanded he no longer honors those ties.
