The powerful roar of a lion echoed out of the darkness, the message was as followed:
I am here, I am here!
Fire light would catch in the male’s eyes as they reflect an eerie glow. Although his father didn’t want involvement, one of his uncles pulled him aside before he left home telling him that coming here would either gain a friend or enemy.

Akando turns at the sounds of the roars, he has been on his patrol around the camp. Squinting he spots the eye shine of the stranger and moves towards him. With a low sounding roar of his own the bear makes a mock charge to see if the stranger would react only stopping a few feet from him with a dark smirk.
“Who are you coming in the middle of the night and possibly waking everyone up? Who do you think you are?” Akando grumbled out,
~~~~~~~
Mega’s sniffs as the scent hits his nose and soon the voice of the bear was heard. Curious, the adult male slowly creeps forward to investigate the situation.
“Majingilane” he whispers, hackles raising slightly at the scent.
The sound of unfamiliar roars echoing in the darkness caught Marahute's attention as the great Golden Eagle soared through the skies above with barely a flap of her enormous wings. Crimson eyes turned towards the ground below her, scanning the earth beneath her for signs of the potential threat before she spotted Akando mock charging something near the edge of the camp with a low roar of his own.
With no sign of any other threats nearby, Marahute tucked her wings tightly against her body and allowed herself to plummet towards the earth and land with a heavy thud behind Akando. Once grounded she also noted that Mega had apparently also heard the roar of the other lion as she caught his scent close by but she paid the familiar lion no attention yet, instead turning her own gaze towards the darkness where she now could make out the silhouette of another lion.
Feathers ruffed up immediately in an intimidating display to make herself appear even larger than she truly was in an effort to dissuade the newcomer from causing trouble.
Post by Anga on Jun 24, 2019 21:06:55 GMT
“A snotty lion; that’s who he thinks he is.”
Anga’s voice rang out in the night. Nearing adulthood and (supposed) maturity, but still able to snark with the best of them. The spotted hyena was a skilled night hunter and incredibly useful for night missions, even though most Dawnseekers didn’t give them proper credit they thought. For whatever reason, they weren’t surprised in the slightest when yet more stupid cats stumbled their way to camp. Can’t they get a hobby?
“No respect for anyone else, obviously,” Anga continued, turning their head so the narrow orange chips of their eyes reflected slightly, “The hell do you want?”
Pretty thoroughly annoyed, they turned their head to spit. Sure, the Dawnseekers were integrated, and Anga enjoyed that, but they felt that should have always been the case -- they were greatly embittered by the separation and terrible treatment of their kind back at home. But they took some pleasure in that lions couldn’t give them crap here even if they wanted to, or they’d be in big trouble with the commanders.
Anga knew they came off as nasty in this situation. They didn’t care. In their defense, approaching an army at night and waking them up wasn’t the wisest introduction -- and Anga took it as being pretentious. They gave a smirk as they lowered their head daringly; knowing if the male lion wanted to have a go at them, they had ample backup.
