Waste Not Want

[Kion]

Kion cocked an eyebrow. "I wouldn't go running off to the Outlands alone, Kopa. Especially right now. Kiara's really broken up over Dad's death, and she wanted both of us to stay close to Pride Rock." As a matter of fact, he was really surprised she hadn't already chased him down. It hurt Kion to see his sister like this. She was always so take-charge, kind, and mature. Now she just seemed so depressed and broken.

"Besides, we don't have any proof that Zira did it." It was only Kion's best guess.. but really, anyone could have done it. They had enemies galore on both sides. There was Janja but... Kion didn't think Janja was smart enough to carry out a plan like this. Kovu seemed too nice... there was the jackals, too... maybe they ganged up and killed Simba because he wouldn't let them live in the Pridelands? Really, there were so many possibilities... it made the cub's head hurt.

[Kopa]

Kopa managed not to growl. "Kiara does seem... not like herself and yes Zira might not have done it but maybe it was..." he shook his head. "And besides I won't be alone, you can come with me. Kiara won't know." He felt his heart pound. He was finally getting closer or at least was making progress. He hoped.

[John Silver]

Silver shifts to pick up the pail of water that he was going to bring back to camp. The teenager questions him again as to the whereabouts of his family members and Silver was about to tell him once again he had no clue, when the prince's younger sibling appeared thankfully telling the other male that he wouldn't know the answer. The ursid just nodded in confirmation, along with a soft. 

"Aye, lad" 

[Kopa]

"Freedom and Peace are worth fight for"

Kopa

 He looked at Kion. "Are you coming with me to the Outlands or not? If you say no I'm still going." Even if Zira wasn't the one who did it he had to be sure right?

[Kion]

Kion shook his head. "No, Kopa. I don't think you should go." The cub moved to stand firmly in his brother's way, trying to block his passage. "We need to stay here and keep an eye on the Pridelands, and more importantly our family. We can't just go running off. It'll upset Kiara." And their mother, he thought privately. He was a little embarrassed to mention her for some reason though.

If Kopa remained obstinate, there was one option... but Kion didn't want to use it unless he absolutely HAD to do it. He certainly didn't want to hurt his big brother, but...

[Kopa]

"XXX"

Kopa

Kopa growled. "Come on Kion, you know I care about my sister too, but I really need to do this," Kopa pleaded. He was desperate. He looked at him with pleading eyes. He padded closer to Kion.

"Kopa, I know you're upset. Trust me, I do." Kion said, also padding closer to bridge the gap between them. There was a saddened, pleading expression on the cub's face. "I want to get to the bottom of Dad's murder as much as you do. But I don't think running off by yourself into the Outlands is gonna solve anything. We really... don't have any proof it was Zira. I was just guessing." The cub hung his head, ears drooping and pinned back, eyes trailing sullenly across the ground. He suddenly looked rather sad. "I wish I knew who it was."

[Kopa]

"I want to get to the bottom of Dad's murder as much as you do. But I don't think running off by yourself into the Outlands is gonna solve anything. We really... don't have any proof it was Zira. I was just guessing."

Kopa

Kopa groaned. "Then come with me to Pride Rock, I want to see the sunset." He looked at the sky seeing it was close to sunset. He wasn't going to give up, but realized right now wasn't the time, at least not yet. He also knew that Zira was tricky. He looked at Kion as he padded to the direction of Pride Rock. "Coming?" he asked.

[John Silver]

“Lad, it’s dawn” Silver grunted, heading up the trail back to camp, he had gotten what he wanted and wasn’t about to get involved in family drama with the dead king’s children. “How about we go to the kitchen and i’ll make the two of you something to eat?” Silver suggested, he might of been out of ear shot however.

[Kopa]

Kopa groaned. "Ok Silver..." He muttered and padded up to the cyborg to follow him.
