January 10th, Dawn
Jasmine finally arrived to the Pridelands. Her life had been in turmoil ever since she lost Agrabah to Jafar, separated from her father and Aladdin and just barely managed to escape her own home with the help of the Freedom Fighters. She didn't know what to do or what would become of her. Whether or not she would be able to return home, whether or not Aladdin and her father are and if they're all right and whether or not she can fulfill her new duties as a Freedom Fighter.
The princess decided to take a walk around the area, admiring the great Pride Rock in the meantime, and try brushing some of her worries off so she could at least try keeping a little optimism.
After a few moments, Jasmine sat down on a rock near a tree, curled into a semi fetal position, and admired this new land she had arrived in. She had to admit it was rather beautiful, it was so untouched by humans, the air was fresh and the wildlife was something to enjoy. Especially now, as a squirrel hopped on top of her knee and began examining the young princess, who couldn't help but smile and pet its head gently as she noticed it, and giggle as the squirrel ran around her midriff and up to her shoulder.
"Aren't you a kidder?" Jasmine said, giggling as she gently picked up the little critter and petted its head and back. "You remind me of Abu..."
As she mentioned the name of Aladdin's primate sidekick, she was reminded of her beloved Aladdin. She could only pray he was unharmed and that they would meet again.
