Hikaru nodded quietly, and then noted how quickly the gauze she had given the giant were already almost soaked through. Her brow creased just ever so slightly. She dug into her coat again and pulled out more rolls of bandages, but she knew that this stop measure wouldn't be enough. She handed these extra bandages to the crash survivor.
"I'm going to contact my people," Hikaru murmured, her gaze even with the alien stare, "I'm going to have them send the medics, doctors, to help you."
With a nod of her head Hikaru stepped back from the being and then slipped out a communications radio from a separate pocket inside her coat. She toggled into the base frequency to Maxwell.
"Maxwell, this is Hikaru," she spoke quietly but clearly, "I'm here at the crash site. We have a space pod, and an injured person here. I need medics as quickly as possible, and then back up. Maybe a council member."
Hikaru waited for Maxwell's response and gave the injured being a firm nod. It almost seemed reassuring...

Large hands work carefully, one pair working on the bandages while the third reaches for the second roll. Even the giant creature knows this won't be enough to stop the bleeding, but there's mention of doctors... An ear raises up carefully, listening to the foreign whine of the radio and Hikaru's words. It seems more help is on the way.
Zamora tilts her head slightly, giving a hum. One blood-stained hand reaches and presses lightly against the smaller's shoulder.
"Hikaru."
The hand then retracts, pressing against the alien's own chest.
"Zamora."
A blood-stained introduction.

Clouded eyes shot open at the loud sound of something crashing not far from the camp. Shani's head lifted off her paws, and she stared blankly in the direction of the noise. It was loud, and something that loud was probably cause for injury if anyone was unfortunate enough to be nearby. She pondered about waking one of the other medics, but then decided that the sooner help got to whatever caused the big noise, the better, and taking time to wake the others would just waste time. Scrambling to her paws, Shani carefully maneuvered around the medic tent, using her sense of smell and touch to help her find her supply bag. During the day, the sun gave her some semblance of sight, even if it was only a mess of vague coloured blurs, but at night she was completely blind.
Still, the cub managed to get her bag on, and out of the tent without too much issue. Now the bigger problem was getting to the source of the noise. She could smell the faint scent of smoke coming from one direction, and decided that was probably the best way to go. Being careful with her steps, she let the smell of smoke guide her to the crash site.

“Pffhahah -- space pod?” was Max’s initial statement into the microphone he’d eagerly turned on moments earlier, “Like martians?”
Max nearly let his New York accent show through as he briefly forgot to play into his radio persona. He blinked and adjusted his headset so his mic wasn’t as close to his mouth.
“I mean, don't worry, I gotcha pal.”
Still standing up, he looked over to one side if his rig. Max wasn't sure who, if anyone, was still awake at this hour. There were several speakers set up on poles near his tent. Max figured if who he needed wasn't up already, his announcement would wake them up. And, he felt that most of the Freedom Fighters ought to be aware of what was going on. He turned the speaker system on;
“Attention Freedom Fighters: an aircraft has just crash landed outside camp. The occupant is not a threat, however, they’ve been injured. It's requested any able medics make their way to the crash site to help out immediately. Ah-- and we might be needing a Council member or two on the scene as soon as possible. That is all.”
Max shut the speakers off and resumed peering out his window.

"Yes, a space pod," she responded simply, not the least bit off put at Maxwell's laughter, "thank you."
Hikaru toggled the radio to silent. She wouldn't be transmitting, but she could receive calls and transmissions from other radios and sets. Hikaru hooked it inside her coat and then returned to... Zamora. Her name was Zamora.
"Help is on the way," Hikaru wasn't the least off put by the bloodied hand on her shoulder, neither by the blood or the alien it was attached to. Instead she carefully stepped in closer to Zamora's injured side, keeping her body language peaceful. Zamora was obviously intelligent and lucid, but sapient creatures still don't appreciate unknown entities near their wounds.
"I'll place pressure on the wound. You wrap it," her dark eyes met Zamora's pale ones, there was something unsaid here. It wasn't merely a discussion of medical care. It was a request for Zamora to trust her. Trust her to touch her and help. True, there was already a sort of truce between the two. A knowledge that they mean no harm to each other. But it was a different level of trust entirely for her to allow Hikaru to not only touch her, but to allow her access to such a vital weak point.
Hikaru waited for Zamora's response. A nod, or a shake. She'd respect either.

Zamora, on the other hand, seems to have something to say about Maxwell’s laughter, giving a short snarl and.. what seems to be a chastisement in that odd tongue, loud enough that he might even hear her through the receiver.
One foot on death’s door, and still sassy as sin, it seems.
Once Hikaru addresses her, Zamora mellows down once again, conserving her strength. She simply responds to Hikaru with a nod, and a soft, weary sigh. This has been quite the adventure, and between the blood loss and the crash, it seems the extraterrestrial is growing weary.

Hercules was passing by when he'd heard the announcement. He sighed. He wondered what it was this time. He made his way to where he heard the announcement. He saw some sort of... Space pod? And another Freedom Fighters and a sort of creature. He wasn't freaked. He had faced all other kinds of monsters. He walked calmly to them. "What is going on here?" he asked, his voice booming slightly.

Shani's ear twitched when she heard the announcement over the loudspeakers in the camp behind her. This only drove her further forward, hoping she could get medical supplies to the crash site before chaos broke out.
She got to the crash site only moments after Hercules, even though she had left before him, only because of her slower pace due to her handicap. Regardless, she ignored him, focusing her attention on the strange scents of burning metal, blood, and an odd scent she couldn't recognize. She also noticed the scent of Hikaru, and walked over to her. Shani placed her paw on Hikaru's leg, "looking" up at her as she shrugged off her bag, "I brought some supplies," she told the girl, "What I could grab that is... What's going on exactly?" She couldn't see the strange looking alien, nor the crashed pod, though she could smell them, and the strange scents had her somewhat on edge, she hoped Hikaru would explain what was in front of her so she could understand better.

Hercules's voice boomed, alerting to his arrival. Hikaru wondered the wisdom of speaking out so strongly in the presence of a very large and very injured strange being...
"He's a comrade," she said quickly to Zamora before she got too defensive. Then when Shani approached Hikaru nodded towards her, "Her too."
Hikaru cleared her throat, she didnt speak often, and when she did, it was quietly so she needed a moment to work up the volume, speaking clearly and firmly enough for bother Hercules and Shani to hear.
"Zamora crashed here. She's injured and bleeding profusely. She can't speak our language, but she can understand English just fine," Hikaru directed this one directly to Hercules, "She's only agressive defensively. Zamora won't attack."
Explanation made she returned to focusing on Zamora's still bleeding wound and Shani, "I didnt bring enough bandages to staunch the bleeding. She will need stitches at the very least..."

Zamora had been focused mostly on keeping awake and aware, what little sight and hearing she’s still got to spare was focused on Hikaru and her words with what... seems to be a communicator, big and bulky and sort of noisy.
She doesn’t notice Herc’s approach, and it’s good Hikaru is quick on the draw. Lips barely have enough time to pull up into a snarl, and blades only rattles for a moment. The noisy creature and... a small one. Smells of fur, a tiny form in the dark and fogged gaze. They’re vouched for, and that thick, bladed tail, which had been raised and pointed towards Hercules, plops heavily into the dirt.
A short, rather grumpy chuff of air escapes the large creature, obviously displeased by the startling noise. She seems just fine to behave, though, only acting defensively. Just like Hikaru said.
