- Shanty - That is one smart lady.Shanty is crazy multi-talented and the Rogues are ridiculously to have her in their corner. She's a wonderful asset. Beyond that Esmeralda doesn't know her well as a person. She's a mystery. Her very being, a robot and an alien, makes her completely foreign to Esmeralda. Doesn't mean she doesn't want to learn more about her, though.
- Varian - Good KidVarian is intelligent, curious, passionate, and a well-meaning boy. His passion gets away from him sometimes and it makes him a bit of a liability. Esmeralda thinks Shanty and Clopin's care are exactly what the boy needs. He needs structure to ground him safely, and encouragement to help him grow. She hasn't personally adopted him under her care like her brother has, but she does have a fondness for him.
- Jack Castle - Loosen Up Old ManCastle is exactly what the Rogues need. He fulfills an important role. Esmeralda respects him, but she also wishes he would lighten up. The man rarely seems happy. Her teasing of him is an attempt to get a rise out of him so that Castle doesn't just sink into his work and forget to live.

- Judge Claude Frollo - Disgusting PervertEsmeralda believes him dead, and good riddance. While Esmeralda is open and flirtatious with nearly everyone, it was always consensual, respectful, and on her terms. There was no such thing with Frollo's obsession with her. His obsessive pursuit of Esmeralda made her severely uncomfortable.
- Maleficent - And generally the Blackblood LegionMaleficent is the face of the legion for Esmeralda, and is basically the focus of her ire in this hellish war.

- SimbaEsmeralda hadn't had much interaction with Simba. Her limited impression of him was that he was a little hypocritical, holding people to standards he himself didn't hold. Beyond that though she had no problems with Simba and would have been perfectly happy to work with him. When Clopin left to form the Rogues, she followed him with out a second thought.
- JasperEsmeralda respects Jasper more than Simba as the leader of the Freedom Fighters. She thinks he's a bit young for such a responsibility but also knows he is more than mature enough for his position. Esmeralda doesn't know why the Rogues and Freedom Fighters can not merge together once more, as Jasper and Clopin have similar views on leading.
