Nasira has a tendency to hold grudges, and her temper, once provoked, could border on murderous. Motivated by power, by authority and by the desire for status, Nasira, if wronged, will seek equal retaliation or compensation in lieu of an apology - a very misguided attempt to transform shame into pride.
However, despite her evil ways, Nasira is fiercely loyal to her friends and family and will do anything to keep them out of harm's way.

Backstory:
Nasira relocated to Agrabah from a past she declined to divulge years before Gazeem gave Jafar the second half of a gold scarab beetle trinket. Jafar had undeviatingly worked his way up to grand vizier of the sultan's court, and Nasira, an aloof closet necromancer, lived in the city. When Aladdin foiled Jafar's plot to take over Agrabah, Nasira was suspected of being a co-conspirator on the basis of association and fled Agrabah.
In the aftermath of Jafar’s defeat, it was common knowledge that the psychopathic sorcerer almost destroyed the world in his mad pursuit of power. The people of Agrabah had had enough. Many felt a personal betrayal that the incumbent sultan had a magi as the royal vizier, and they deduced that it was safe to assume that every magi had the capacity to elevate themselves to the level of gods, and that the problem could be solved if all of the magi were driven from Agrabah. The sultan gave in.
After Nasira resurrected him, Jafar used the magi's exile as justification for settling the score under the guise that he was standing up for those who had had their rights stolen. He promised the magi everything that had been stolen from them and more in exchange for their complete subjugation. He named his new army the "Blackbloods" to remind them of their unjust exile, and together, they conquered Agrabah.

But Jafar's reign over the Blackblood Legion had been a short one. A powerful fairy named Maleficent challenged Jafar for command and won. Instead of killing Jafar, she made him her second-in-command and said that he rule the Arabian Peninsula - while she ruled the rest of the world. Nasira was angry, but there was nothing she could do about it, and a part of her was grateful Maleficent had spared their lives.
When Simba heard about the acquisition the power, he felt this would be the perfect opportunity to rid the Freedom Fighters of a powerful enemy now that the latter could no longer hide in his palace. Against the pleas of his council, the king picked twenty peacekeepers to assassinate the evil sorcerer. In retaliation to her brother's murder, an enraged Nasira had Sarafina lure Simba to the gorge, where the king was torn apart by her ghazis, the killing blow delivered by Scar's daughter and Simba's half-sister Kula.
