January 16th, Year 1 Reddish hues bore down idly at the water of the fountain. His raggedy features were tugged into a solemn look and his expression carried that of the weight of sadness. It had already been more than a few days since the claiming of the Australian supply route but it felt as though it took until now that the weight of the situation had fully set in for Nuka. Kula had been pretty ruthlessly torn into by their damned cousin Kopa, and could have been killed. He could have lost his sibling, and he was lucky he hadn't. That thought alone was enough to turn his stomach and make him uncomfortable, a series of thoughts running through his head of what would happen had she been lost to that damn kid. Nuka would have blamed himself. A hefty sigh left the young adult, as his brows knitted together tightly soon though he got to his pause. He was quick to cast away what was tormenting him. Such thoughts were best left alone anyway, he couldn't be much help if he was sulking around because of them. He needed to get better at fighting, he needed do better! He was a strong lion, and he would prove to everyone around him that he was such. Ever since they had gotten to Agrabah he was no longer the scrawny little timid 'cub' that he once was. Starting to have the weight behind those punches he could lash out. Maybe even he could prove he was fit to be an heir to their throne! Well. Maybe not, it was the thought that counted though. He shook the doubt out of his body, surging his body forward to dart to the training grounds that were set up in the palace for all of them only to run straight into someone else with a loud 'WHOOMPF'. He thudded backward against the ground, a low groan of pain bubbling out before he scrambled back onto his paws. Realizing his fumble. He threw up his forepaws, cackling with all the nervousness of a teenager. "I AM SO SORRY!" He yelped, one paw clasping over his muzzle. "Are you alright?!"

The ragtag family of three were sitting in a rough circle at the center of the training field, holding some kind of meeting amongst themselves. Each was sporting the form of a beast. They weren’t blind to the fact that there wasn’t complete integration between the humans and the animals within the Blackblood Legion; though it may not have been done consciously, the men tended to stick with men, and the beasts with beasts. The three kept these forms to avoid being interfered with; to go under the radar and simply be written off.
Kattz had parted his jaws to interject with one of his trademark “Well I think”s, before he felt something push into his back. The blue feline wasn’t knocked over, since he was fairly stable sitting down, but his head and upper body jerked forward. Square-framed glasses fell off his nose and straight to the ground. Yellow eyes were widened and slightly crossed before he blinked and turned his head.
“Don’t worry. You weren’t interrupting anything important,” Kattz was the only one to speak.
Kattz was looking down at the fallen young lion, a close-lipped half-snarl on his face. Owl had gotten to her feet and began to walk over, looking far less hostile and more curious than her father. Finally, Nil stayed put, her narrow head rising above all present with an expression unreadable.

At the sound of an all too familiar voice, Nuka seemed to pause in his frantic actions. Crimson hues boring up at the bigger male for a long moment in a mix of confusion and wonder. Wait, was this Kattz? Oh wow, that was, wow! Cool, he was like him a big cat! But wait, wasn't he like the two legged human things the last time they met? Boy, that was kinda weird.
The younger stuck out his bottom lip n confusion, the half snarl almost failed to be noticed but luckily Nuka was quick to catch on. His ears fell flat against his skull, and he lowered his head almost sheepishly. "I am really sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt nothing," He nearly squeaked like a cub, taking a step or two back.
However, the sudden appearance of Owl almost had Nuka's whole demeanor changing. His sheepish behavior turned into that of an excited teenager. "Owl!" He near yelped in excitement. The young lion bouncing onto all four of his paws. "Hey! What are you doing here?! How are you? Good, I hope!" However, in his eagerness, he failed to notice the thylacine beast sitting in the close knitted circle.
