(February 2nd: open to all Jungle Book characters)
The large Indian wolf lifts his head back allowing a pleasing howl to leave his throat. Moonlight flicking off the ocean waves and the water itself as Grey sings a song to the sea.
“To the moon we raise our voices, in a fearful harmony. No one but us rejoices at The song of the Seeonee!” Another howl leaves the wolf as he strolls along the beach. Grey continues singing before he pauses mid verse and sniffs the salty air. “Hello? I can smell you?” Yellows eyes narrow for a moment as he tries to locate the scent.

Leaning his back against a tree as he sat on a branch, Mowgli stared into the night sky. He had not seen anyone for a while now and the loneliness was beginning to pressure him. He felt so...unmotivated.
But the man-cub quickly turned around when he heard a howl in the distance. Could it be someone from his pack? He swung down from the tree and howled back, hoping to be heard.

Grey’s sharp ears swiveled forward at the sound of a howl from somewhere nearby. One that he knew well. The noise in front of him forgotten for now, Grey’s attention was on the howl. He lifted his head back, returning the howl.
Is that you Little Brother? When did you enter the war?
Grey dropped his head for a moment and stepped forward towards the jungle to await a reply.
I am on the beach, Brother, thy beach

Mowgli followed the sound of the voice, which he recognized immediately as his brother. He wondered what he was doing here, right now. But he didn't concern himself with that now, he ran as fast as he could toward the beach where the howls came from. Once arrived, Mowgli decided to greet his brother in a mischievous way; he climbed up a vine hanging from a tree and swung towards the wolf, tackling him and wrestling him on the sand.
"Boy, am I glad to see you!" Mowgli chuckled, hugging Grey as he let him stand up. "What are you doing here?"

Yellow eyes widen in surprise as he is suddenly tackled with a small yelp he wrestles with his brother gently nipping at him, tail wagging like a flag. He laughs as they finally separate and the now sandy wolf gets to his feet. He purposely gives a shake to shower Mowgli in sand. He draped a paw around the man-cub embracing him back. “As am I, Little Frog. I have come to give support to this fight.” He gives the boy’s cheek a lick

Kaa had slithered onto the beach, pushing into the cold sand. He looked around to see a familiar looking wolf and an even more familiar looking boy. His eyes became silts. It was Mowgli. He smirked and slithered towards them. He then said in a smooth voice. "My, my, if it issssn't the little man-cub," Kaa taunted, a smile appearing. He slithered just out of arms reach. The last tie he had seen the man-cub was when the little brat pushed him of a tree branch making him hit his head.

Grey Brother’s ears drop back against his skull at the sight of the familiar rock python. “Kaa” he greeted, “Come to make a meal out of my brother?” The wolf steps closer to the snake “You should know that beaches are neutral territory” his tail raises now to show dominance to the snake.

His purpose there was simply to relax.
Khan had wandered from the Paris Territory and to the sea to put distance between him and his comrades while he could. He had not betrayed them and had all intentions of going back but sometimes even he needed a break. Especially as of late. The turmoil in his chest was too bothersome to deal with when there was so much chaos going on back at the Court of Miracles. It hardly gave him the times to think, so a simple few days away would leave him feeling refreshed and ready for action once again. However, what he didn't expect to find on his travels was this.
The sound of howling had spiked his interest, it was a sound he hadn't heard in a good year or two so of course, curiosity had thrust him forward towards the sound. His large lethal form moved through the brush and cover with silent ease, and soon he came to the beginnings of a beach that spanned far out before him and greeted the high tide of the ocean. Surprise was the emotion that colored his tired features at the sight he was met with.
Brilliant rays of moonlight trickled down onto the waves causing them to illuminate with beauty and he found himself peacefully content watching the light dance against the waters. The world could be so beautiful-
But such a wonder was interrupted by the sound of an all too familiar voice.
Black tipped ears fell flat against the sides of his skull, and his golden gaze narrowed dangerously. Just the grating sound of the man cub's voice was enough to set the tension that had just begun to leave him back at it's highest level. Some part of him had hoped he would never have to hear that little boy's mouth ever again, but of course, the tides of fate had different plans.
His muzzle crinkled in anger as his gaze searched for the source of the noise, soon spotting Grey and Mowgli only a few mere paw strides away. The child had grown since their last encounter, his hair was longer and the scars he had left on the boy had grown paler. Khan would have gladly scoffed in enjoyment that the scars were still there if he had not been so riled. Instead, though he was more than a bit eager to rip into the boy's flesh and end him this time. It was odd how these two had lingered into his path, almost ironic really. However, his golden gaze soon caught a third joining them. One that he really didn't care for either...
Kaa. The damn snake. Go figure that scaly bastard would be here too.
An annoyed tsk, left the tiger king before ivory claws dug deep into the sand to stay his anger. After a moment of internally arguing with himself, he pushed out of his hiding spot. He might as well announce himself, give them all a scare.
"Well," He begun as an introduction, breathing out sharply with a harsh sigh. "Isn't this quite the turn of events, man cub?"

Kaa's scales stiffened. He turned to see ShereKhan. He smiled forcefully. "Isssn't thisss a ssssurprisssse," He hissed. He almost leaped at the tiger but restrained himself. He gave him a look of distaste.
He was tensed and ready to spring. But if things got too out of hand, he'd probably run away like a coward. That's what he was.

Mowgli chuckled as he wiped his cheek. It was a shame their mother, Raksha, wasn't there. Mowgli had wanted to visit her for a long time. Unfortunately, their happy reunion was cut short once Kaa revealed himself.
"You!" Mowgli cried, trying to avoid eye-contact with the snake, knowing he'd end up in his coils once again if he let his guard down. And the situation certainly didn't get better when Shere Khan, the tiger, revealed himself as well.
"What do you want?" Mowgli asked the tiger, angrily. "If you're here to kill me, you should know that every wolf in my pack will hunt you down and tear you apart...besides, I've beaten you before and I know what you're afraid of."
Mowgli slowly bent down to whisper to his brother. "If we retreat to the forest, we might be safer from them. If they attack, we can't fight them on an open field."
