The plan failed, the situation was getting more and more desperate. Mowgli quickly resurfaced but made sure he'd constantly be on the move. Acting out of instinct, Mowgli took out a chunk of seaweed and managed to stuff it in the tiger's mouth, though injured his forearm doing so. Then suddenly, Mowgli struck his elbow into Khan's eye as hard as he could. No doubt the seaweed would be inedible and disgusting to a tiger and the elbow strike would probably make him disorientated for a short while, giving the man-cub more time.
With his injured arm, Mowgli swam towards the shore where his brother was waiting. "Grey! Help me quick!" Mowgli cried as he was approaching the shore.
