February 24th, Evening It was no bog, but it’d have to do. The massive black mare’s tail flicked lightly as she stood in the main grounds’ fountain, head dipped to allow her access to the water. This wasn’t the only fountain or pond on the grounds, but it was one of the largest, leaving much room for the hellish draft to move about. That, and the pretty little fish in the water just tasted better here. They weren’t exactly human flavored, but once again, it’s have to do. Honestly, if no one had given prior warning, Morrighan looked no different than an ornamental Fresian mare with a curious habit of standing in her drink. She preferred it that way. When people wandered this late, seeing a quiet spot to vent their frustrations, or talk out their problems, the Kelpie was there to catch them. And, if she were feeling generous (and a mite mischievous), she would speak up and help. Thus is the way of the fae, as it were.

Elliot had gotten so used to shutting himself up in the daylight hours, the sun stung his eyes and made his skin feel way too hot and blistered. But he didn't mind it so much here, there were so many large buildings where he could hide away from the light without having to cut himself off from everyone else. Still, even he grew tired of how stuffy and stifling the dusty air became inside, so every evening he made a habit to leave the shadows and catch a moment for some fresh air, he liked this time of day better anyway, everything just looked nicer in the softer colors and subdued colors.
He took a deep breath when he stepped out, it wasn't necessarily warm, or cold, but it was pleasant and he had to appreciate how crisp and fresh the air felt after leaving the slight must of the inside. He liked this courtyard, especially the little babbling fountain, where he could watch the little fish swimming and just forget about everything else around him for a little while.
However, there was a new and strange sight that greeted him this time, and it gave him pause for just a moment before he boldly decided to investigate. He'd certainly seen Frisians before, but there was something almost unsettling about this one, just standing in the fountain, but it wasn't enough to cause any hesitation as he approached, "are you...Lost?" He questioned, his voice just a whisper that sounded slightly strained, like if he spoke any louder it would be a struggle, he didn't expect this mare to answer him of course, but perhaps if this was a lost animal he could help her find her way back to...Wherever she came from.

The mare raises her head as someone approaches, something colorful slipping past her lips. It seems the horse is eating the water lilies... or the fish. When Elliot addresses her, Morrighan saunters up to him, head down in a curious fashion. The mare seems friendly enough, mainly as curious about him as he seems to be of her.
What a strange looking human, Morrighan pondered, so pale and lean. He reminded her of a ghost. She’s positive she’d have remembered this young man if she’d seen him before, and yet...
He must be new here.
An ally means he’s in no danger in regards to the Kelpie. But that doesn’t mean she won’t give him... a little test, of sorts. A bit of a tease, nothing more. As far as she was concerned, she wasn’t the strangest thing in France, or the most dangerous. If he had no fear of her, she couldn’t help but be a bit worried. Imagine if she were Dobson...
The mare gives a short snort, and tilts her head slightly. A bad thought. Instead, she settles to sniff and snuggle against his hair, as if investigating him. Scary as she may be, she was still his ally.
Notably. The mare is... soggy, to say the least. Smells like algae, too. And those bright, pinpoint eyes...
