Personality: Diso is a proud raven, defiant and strong. His will allowed him to survive the harsh lifestyle under the Evil Queen. The only thing holding him tight to the Blackbloods was his mate, who death in combat with “Freedom Fighters” led Diso to forsake his allegiance to the Legion. He is vocal in his hatred for the legion and will deny any loyalty to it to anyone whenever asked. Instead, all of his energies as a spy and infiltrator will go to ruining both the Freedom Fighters and the Blackbloods.
In close confidence, which doesn’t happen often, Diso can be a loyal ally and trustworthy confidant. He carries a wisdom from his years under the Evil Queen that shows he is intelligent beyond his race. He also has arcane knowledge from his time in the Queen’s laboratory, and while he cannot use it himself, he would be a gifted familiar to those he trusts.
Backstory: Dissonus was the animal companion of the Evil Queen for many years until she transformed herself into a hag and was slain by the Seven Dwarfs. Freed from his underground prison, Dissonus fled into the wild and met Lianna, another raven. The two quickly fell for each other and began mating for life. Their nest was blessed with two eggs and they were happy.
That was before the other crows returned.
They told Lianna and Diso that a war had begun, and that the Mistress of Darkness desired Dissonus’ magical knowledge to led aid. Both birds were swayed when their eggs were stolen from them and left to fight; Dissonus as a mage’s aid and Lianna as a frontline spy. However, when Lianna was killed during a risky mission in the Pride Lands, Dissonus rushed to check on his eggs only to find they were smashed for Lianna’s failure to return. Disgusted and betrayed, he botched a magical potion and escaped into the night. Flying to Paris, he requested an audience with the King of Rogues, and offered his skill as a mage’s familiar and as spy in the Blackblood army.
