Mar 5th
It's been a while since the events at sea. Frollo tried to run as much damage control since the incident, but to little avail. He saw that his view among the soldiers had also diminished as well. The death of one of our own by assassins from the Rouges also seemed to weigh on him... But the thing that bothered him the most... Was his "buddy". The sword that he found though it had so many benefits, Had one glaring Detriment. Another being. Another voice enters his mind each time he has it grasped. One that cost him the last engagement.
Frollo tried his best to ignore the presence, burying himself in paperwork and Edgar's books. But every once and a while, he could hear a voice "the battlefield calls. This is not your purpose. It is to purify those who would deny the wills of the Divine! Unleash me! Let me show my Strength!"
Frollo knocked away the blade. This was the last straw. For he actually was actually thinking about drawing it.
"I'm going to need some help..." Frollo wrapped the blade and scabbard in a satin wrapping. He walked to Nasira's door avoiding everyone else. He knocked on the door and said "Nasira, are you there...? I need your help with a sensitive matter."

It was still fairly early in the morning. A bleary-eyed Nasira was on her second cup of coffee when Frollo knocked on her door, splitting apart some indulgent daydream. She jolted, nearly scalding her hand. "Al'ama," she hissed to herself, getting up. She could not get a moment's peace. Ah well, at least Frollo didn't kick the door in like a certain jackass.
She opened it, coffee mug in hand. "What is it?" she asked, stifling a yawn. Her dark eyes flickered to the provisional scabbard. "Your sword." It was not a question.

"Yes. My sword." He said. "May I come in?" Entering a ladies room was still a little weird for him as he really would rather not be there. However his comfort would have to wait. He walked passed her carefully and closed the door behind him.
Frollo put the sword on the table in the room. "I found it in Europe, before I came back here. It's power is great indeed. However... I think there is something that moreso fits your skill set than mine. I have tried in my free time to expel the spirit but to no avail. If not for this weapon..."

Nasira gave a perfunctory shrug. "Sure," she relented after a short, unsettled pause. She stepped to the side. Frollo went in and closed the door behind him. He then set the sword on her coffee table. Nasira eyed it appraisingly. "I see." That would explain why he was asking her for help. Spirits were her forte. But she was going to need more information.
"Why do you wish to expel this spirit?" Nasira asked.

"Because the damned thing... Speaks to me. It wants me to draw the sword and kill all of those that are unworthy of the grace of God. You can see how this would be a problem where we are." He turned and looked at the blade with tired eyes.
"Also on the boat. Back when we were trying to control the area, the reason for me acting the way I did was..." He looked at the blade again before continuing with his thought. "The power it holds as I said before is great, I feel that with it I can serve Lady Maleficent to the best of my ability to. However, I cannot operate with this thing constantly testing my willpower. Can you do anything to help keep the power of the sword and expel the spirit, or if not just get rid of the spirit, power and all."
Frollo held his head "The longer I have it with that spirit, the more the pull to use it strengthens on my mind. Please help me Nasira." He said.

"That is a problem," Nasira agreed, looking over the sword with a renewed interest. "You'd think the spirits would exemplify more patience considering they're no longer in a time crunch," she mused, the irony lost on the immortal necromancer. Nasira felt a flicker of irritation. Frollo had landed himself in hot water for crumbling under pressure and for leaving Scar behind in the Battle of Australasia. Knowing why did not provide any alleviation. Scar and Perthmail were still dead. "All this time," she began, seeing the monster's long teeth. "It was the sword that was distracting you."
Nasira was then struck by a thought. She looked quizzically at Frollo. "Tell me something - does Crow know?" she asked tetchily. "...does Her Excellency know?" She then gave a tired sigh. "I will help you," she said. "But I cannot promise that the sword will keep its enhancements."

Follo chose to forgo talking about the sea battle, as it may do more harm then help in this situation. "About the sword? Of course lady Maleficent knew." Frollo said as a matter of factly. "Everything I do and did up to this point is written in several detailed reports to her. Including the finding of this relic. And I assume if lady Maleficent knows that Crow must know by extension. Now about the spirit? Only God knows if she did. I didn't even know it was there until recent."
Then Frollo had a thought that just popped into his head "Now if Crow didn't read my reports before they got to Lady Maleficent, I would consider that him being lazy, And since Crow is anything but lazy I do assume he knows as well."

"I meant the spirit possessing your sword," Nasira elucidated. "It's worth mentioning." Her voice was dull, as if she did not care a whit whether Frollo would include that detail in his next report or not.
Nasira could almost hear the venom dripping from each word. Small wonder. Frollo's defeat had left Crow livid, and Nasira had not seen the vizier and the overseer in the same room since. It made Nasira wonder what would have happened to her if she had not been successful in the Australian campaign, and the depraved necromancer had felt a moment's pity for the Hammer of God as he was dragged to the throne room. But it had only been for a moment. Nasira had trusted Frollo, and he had repaid that trust by leaving Scar to die. She would never make that mistake again. Nasira believed if she had been thrown overboard, Frollo would have let her drown.
With a look that was part grief and part disgust, she said, "Nevermind. Let's get this over with, shall we?"

"?" Nasira's sudden change in attitude confused Frollo. Was it something he said? She said she wanted to get it over with which is all well and good, But he needed to 'clear the air' as it were, who knows what will happen if she tried to cast whatever spell she was going to with such a crabby outlet. That is how it works right? He thought to himself.
"Before we do, Nasira... Please tell me what is bothering you. It might help you feel better if you just let it all out." He said. Also this way gives him an idea on how much work he really needs to do to get her trust back if he had indeed lost it at all. Of course he didn't tell her that.
"Just kill the unholy wench and get done with it." A voice echoed in Frollo's head. "If you really think a necromancer can dispell our covenant with the lord Almighty then you must be lost..." Frollo shook his head slightly trying to ignore the being. " I would like to hear it. Please Nasira."
