A bit of an arse, Cain is pretty bluntly honest. He's not all kisses and hugs and moral sport, he's tough love, pushing people to their limits and beyond and has a hard time expressing his own emotions. He's a bit gruff and has a morbid sense of humor but don't mess with those who he calls family. He will fight tooth and claw for them.

Backstory

Born to an unknown mother and father, Cain is one of the many siblings of Michi and Oliver. He was one of the first chosen to be adopted and was only adopted due to his scruffy appearance and feisty demeanor. His 'owner' thought he would be perfect for the job he had in mind and he was pretty much right on the money though it took a while for the kit to adjust to his new life. In fact in the first few weeks he was pretty bad at ratting until one of the elder cats, a tom named Smogs, took him under his wing and taught him the ropes.

It wasn't a simple couch potato life but Cain enjoyed the work and he was always 'paid' fairly with food, warmth and a place on his owner's couch. Until the business took a tumble right before the war, he was forced out onto the streets with Smogs and while they thrived okay Smogs grew sickly and their life together ceased to exist after Smogs passed on. Cain was left to roam aimlessly, going from city to city, town to town, just to find a place to call home.

It's how he ended up in Canada. Where he's freezing his freaking tail off!
