April 3rd | Open to just Hades and I for now, but it will open up to other Rogues later.
Clopin’s hands were spread flat on the table before him, narrow shoulders hunched forward as he glossed over a few yellowed maps, pinning down a corner to prevent it from curling back up. He hadn’t been there long before Virgil walked in, nudging the king’s leg with his head.
“Mon roi, we seem to have a bit of a problem in the throne room...your presence is requested.” Virgil said, with a obvious tone of worry to his voice. Clopin rolled up the maps and set them aside, turning to face Virgil. Not a lot worried the usually carefree dog, unless it was something really bad.
“What is it?” Clopin asked, raising a brow.
“Just...come with me, they’ll explain when we get there.” Virgil said, ushering the king out the door.
When they arrived to the throne room, Clopin raised a hand to the Shadowkeepers waiting there, and ascended the steps to his chair, before lowering his hand to let them speak.
“Jenn! She’s missing! We were talking to her about some ideas we had, and she was talking to us, and then all of a sudden, POOF!”
“And she was gone! Just like that!” another Shadowkeeper chimed in.
“Slow down! Now please, tell me again what happened. Jenn is missing?” Clopin said, leaning forward in his chair, his brows furrowed as he listened intently to them.
“Yes! We were talking to her not too long ago, and right in the middle of her response, she disappeared into thin air!” the first Shadowkeeper responded, eyes wide with concern.
Clopin leaned back in his chair, stroking his goatee slowly. There had to be some sort of reasonable explanation for this. It was unheard of for any of his Rogues to just disappear into thin air.
“Virgil. Please find Hades, Taylor, and the unicorns. We’re going to need their help to find Jenn.”
