The cold wind howled as snow blew past a cloaked figure in the forest, walking...or rather, floating through it.They looked up, a single red eye dimly glowing in the darkness. A sigh escapes their lips, a puff of air escaping to the night.
Lani had heard of a creature lurking in the forest, a large monster with a knife for a tail, felling trees and shrieking like a banshee.
This was the perfect opportunity to work on being a hero. They still had some regrets having to drop out of college for the time being, and their guardian wasn't too thrilled about that...but ever since they discovered their powers, they felt a responsibility to save and help as many people as possible.
Lani- or rather Whisper as they referred to themselves as in this outfit- shook their head.
They had a mission.
They pulled the cloak closer, continuing to float and scan the area for any signs of this creature.
