While quiet, Belle carries within her a bold personality. She fears little and is always prepared to voice her thoughts, especially when faced with adversity. Even when struck with fear she doesn't allow it to freeze her body, acting instead for the good of others. While she enjoys her books she longs for adventure of her own and uses them as an escape from her dull reality. When faced with the real thing however she jumps at the chance to live out the magic and wonder of heroes and damsels.

Backstory:
Once upon a time there was a Beast; a cursed prince whose greed and magic laid broken before the love of a great beauty. For a time the pair lived in peace, ruling their little fiefdom and running the considerable household in happiness whilst preparing for a wedding between Beauty and Beast.
In a familiar turn war arrived at their doorstep -- a call went out for help as the monarchy changed hands and plunged France into the midst of a magical blood feud. Prince Adam, the beloved beast reformed, departed to help a cause known as the Freedom Fighters. It wasn't until after he left that word came about regarding a split in the armies. France was no longer allied with the Freedom Fighters but with the Rouges under King Clopin's direct command. Anyone looking to assist in the war effort was encouraged to enlist -- including the nobility.
Well...
War could be an adventure of a sort. Perhaps an accord could be reached about the exchange of soldiers.
Belle left the castle and headed for the fast track to Paris.
