Personality:
Normally, Kovu will present himself as confident and self-assured. This was the image he has been trained to have. And yes, some of it has probably seeped into his own image of himself. He does see himself as a bit superior than Pridelander cubs if only because he got more freedom. But beyond that, he is a bit of a good person at heart, often coming off across as more friendly than what was ingrained into him. He really just wants some sense of peace and friends - the latter of which he only has Vitani for, and the former which hasn't come in spades thanks to the war. He is slowly learning to hide his warmth with a colder disposition, however.
Backstory:
Supposedly the last cub to be born to Zira before the Outlanders were banished - but of course, once again, that isn't true. He doesn't belong in Zira's family at all, with instead having his mother killed, and Zira taking him. Kovu was however raised under the belief that his family is his family - or at least, that Vitani is his twin. He was hand-picked by Scar to be the next heir, though he's not entirely sure how much he wants this position. Especially after Scar is now dead.
