It had been a rather slow day in the Blackblood’s medical ward, which was rather perplexing considering the recent battle between the rogues. At least, according to what Iseult had gathered from scattered whispers and fragmented conversations between the other army members- but mostly from a couple of curious apprentices.
Oh well.
The lack of visitors, as well as the lack of medics, wasn’t her problem- they weren’t children. They could come of their own volition, yet didn’t. So why not enjoy the quiet while it lasted? Quiet days in Agrabah seemed to be few and far between. From what they had noted, the city was a bustling hub of activity. If it wasn’t war related, then it was the city itself and its inhabitants.
A thriving place indeed.
Ugh how unappealing, Iseult mused as she laid down on the floor, limbs sprawled out, and flicked her tail. Ever the introvert, Iseult tended to avoid large gatherings and practically leapt at the opportunity of any form of quiet and isolation they could receive. A happy sigh escaped from the feline. This is complete and utter paradise. Unfortunately for her, it was broken rather quickly by the sound of muffled footsteps. Silver ears instinctively pricked up. Iseult, however, rolled her eyes in silent mourning the death of pure silence and tranquillity. It was nice while it lasted, she sighed, now who’s visiting? Lazily, the feline rose to their feet, joints popping in the process. “Come in, come in,” They called out while they padded to the room’s entrance.
“The Jerrah-bashi isn’t here at the moment but they’ll be back soon. But for now, I’ll be your medic-” Iseult paused when amber eyes landed on her visitor. Kula? Well then, this day just got lot more interesting. Out of all creatures Iseult expected to step inside the medical ward, Kula wasn’t one of them. If anything, Iseult expected the other lioness to be off with her siblings or with the ghazis. But she was here, and that was all that mattered. “Princess,” they bowed their head, despite the fact that they were no longer in a Pride. But still, old habits died hard and the silver feline wanted to actively avoid angering the former King’s children, lest she end up the next creature on the family’s hit list.
“Just take a seat and relax.” She murmured, using a paw to gesture to one of the make-shift beds.
