May 14, Mid-Day FLASH!Kopa appeared in a flash. He grumbled. "Ugh, Genie, that was very unpleasant." he grimaced. Genie shrugged. Kopa rolled his eyes and looked around. "Well, at least you got us to the right place," he said. The place in question was Agrahbah, or at least the Arabian Peninsula. Kopa had done this without anyone knowing, not even the council knew he was gone. He had gone with Genie to look for Genie's friend Aladdin. Kopa had an ulterior motive coming to the oasis, and that was to give Kula and the rest of the Blackbloods a piece of his mind. How he hated them. Oh, how he hated them. Kopa glanced at Genie. "Well, where is he?" Kopa asked. Genie frowned. Nothing. Was he wrong to come here? Something told him he had been wrong to come here, but something else told him that Aladdin had been here. "He isn't around here," Genie said. Kopa groaned. "He must be in Agrahbah," Genie added. Kopa's eyes widened. "Agrahbah? He wouldn't! That's literally suicide!" he exclaimed loudly. Inside though, Kopa knew that was where the rest of the Blackbloods and Kula would be. Genie shushed him. "Shh, we got to be quiet," he whispered. Kopa glared. "Quiet? We're in the middle of a desert! Who's gonna hear us?!" he growled. Genie ignored him. Evil surrounded the desert. Genie shuddered. It was awful. It was worse than when Jafar had control (for a short time, but still.) Kopa, who didn't have any magic at all, could still feel the evil surrounding them. Kopa walked forward, then slipped. Agh, sand, he disliked sand. You couldn't walk on it very well unless you were used to this sort of environment, but he wasn't used to such an environment. He got up grumbling. "Fine, but let's try to be careful?" he said, then stopped, wondering why he had said that and not Genie. All of a sudden, he heard something. He frowned and looked at Genie. "What was that?" he asked. Genie looked pale, which was weird since he was blue. "Let's move," he said, his voice almost urgent. Was it who Genie thought it was?

Above the date palm trees the sky was a bright blue, shimmering as the occasional spear of light pierced through the leaves. Nasira could hear the gentle lap of water from an unseen stream and a cool and calm breeze rustling by in the leaves. It was a peaceful scene, and only the presence of her patrol nearby prevented complete relaxation.
"Caaw!" Nasira looked up. A solitary crow hopped in the thin branches of a pistachio tree, the midday sun casting a slight rainbow sheen on its back and wings. She turned away.
Nasira had been the vizier for a month now. Crow had been given a very important assignment that required him to step down as vizier until its completion. No one but Maleficent knew where he was or what he was even doing. Any joy Nasira would have felt at being promoted had been blighted by his sudden departure. Maybe she did want the position a little more than she let on, sure, but not at the cost of him leaving. She had indeed grown fond of Crow in the four months she had known him. But she knew that Crow was where he was needed the most. They were all doing what they can to win the war.
Nasira heard dead leaves crunch behind her and looked over her shoulder quickly. The crow took to the sky.
It was Genie.
"You," the vizier said in a voice which iron authority and overpowering anger had completely altered. She'd recognize that joke of a djinn anywhere, and accompanying him was a red-maned lion, one of Simba's descendants no doubt. Nasira vaguely wondered if he was that same lion that saved Hikaru months back.
As sure as the cobra strikes, Nasira gave the order to cut them down.

Genie paled even further as he saw that indeed, it was who he thought it was. "Yes, me," he said, trying to make it out as a joke, but it wasn't the wittiest thing he'd ever said. Kopa squinted. What? Who in the world was sh- he stopped. Oh, it was her! The woman who almost killed Hikaru and almost set Kopa on fire. He glared at that. The memory made him cringe. And scrunch up. "Genie, we need to get out of here, now, fast!" he said, his voice urgent and tight. Of course, just Kopa's luck, he had been found in a matter of minutes. He was almost willing to drop everything and run. Then again, that wasn't really him. Genie created some smoke as a diversion, but it would only last a few seconds. Kopa coughed and started running, but that darn sand made him slip again. "Ugh, how I hate sand," he grumbled, getting up quickly before walking carefully away. This would most likely not work, but hey, there was a first for everything, right? Kopa grimaced. "Ugh, it's her," he mumbled. Genie agreed with him. Ugh, her. Kopa froze as he saw others. "Oh great, she brought friends! That's just freaking great!" he yelled, his voice full of sarcasm. Genie ignored him. He needed to think quickly. He could just poof both of them back to Canada, but something told him that was a bad idea. Maybe Nasira couldn't track him, but she sure could track Kopa. Kopa meanwhile was grumbling. Kopa groaned. How he hated Blackbloods, oh how he hated them. They were on his list of people who were really bad, and these guys were at the top of his list. The very top and nobody else even came close. Well, expect Kula. "Hope Kula isn't a part of that patrol," he muttered. It was quiet. He guessed this was a patrol, but why would they be patrolling? It wasn't like they knew they were coming, right? "Come on and fight me, you idiots," he growled, his hatred of Blackbloods resurfacing.

Post by Tucker on Dec 12, 2018 20:33:31 GMT
Tucker who has been slowly trailing behind Nasira perks up upon sight and then scent of the foolish soldiers. “They can’t be that stupid?” He murmured more to himself but in ear shot of Nasira. When the order was given Tucker took off like a bullet out of a gun racing towards the pair hardly caring about the sudden smoke screen as he plunged into it, it was his nose that saved him as he managed to sniff out Kopa’s scent and swiftly moves in his direction.
“Come on and fight me, you idiots,"
This lion wanted a death wish, didn’t he? Tucker just snorts and lunges at the young lions hunch, in second teeth bury into the flesh. Now if he could just avoid the claws.

Post by Callista on Dec 12, 2018 23:18:24 GMT
Sand shifted and rustled under her boots and Callista followed the party, a hijab wrapped around her face and a light jacket covering her otherwise exposed skin. The vampire had made the decision to join the patrol seeing the overcast sky and, while still inconvenienced by the faint sunlight, was still alert as ever, her amber eyes peering through the shade of her veil. As they drew closer to the oasis, her ears started to swivel around curiously... she could hear voices.
"Someone's there," she stated flatly just as the lion and djinn came into view.
Before Callista even had time to react to the two intruders revealing themselves, Nasira gave the command to attack. The vampire gave a sharp hissing sound and lurched forward as if to pounce, brandishing a dagger, but the djinn summoned a thick smoke cloud for a few moments as a distraction. It gave her slight pause, but she was still hot on their tail even as they tried to get away, not very far behind Tucker.
"Come on and fight me, you idiots!"
"A bold wish, león idiota," Callista chuckled darkly, pulling her hijab away from her mouth to reveal a fanged grin. "You're not getting away without a fight."
As Tucker lunged at Kopa, Callista quickly turned to Genie, another hiss escaping her. She wasn't sure what this djinn was capable of, but she had her magic as well, limited though it was. She held the dagger up and swung it directly at the blue being, aiming straight for the jugular.

Kopa wasn't having any of it. He growled and rolled, trying to get Tucker off him. He succeeded. He then growled and tried to claw at Tucker, aiming for any skin that he could find. Kopa was angry now, very angry. He clawed harder, not letting the other have time to recover. Oh, he wouldn't kill him, but he sure would hurt him.
Genie found a knife going straight towards him, and poofed a few feet away, and looked to see who had thrown the knife, and paled more. A vampire. Great. He backed away more. He knew that she couldn't actually kill him, not really, but he wasn't taking any chances.
Kopa was glaring hard at his opponent now, no fear in his eyes, only pure hatred. He had to take some deep breaths to keep himself from attacking them. This was exhilarating! But even he knew he couldn't fight them all. he looked around at the gathering patrol. Someone grinned at him. A vampire! He glared back at her. Why was she grinning?
Both Genie and Kopa forgot all about Nasira for a few moments. I mean, when two others were trying to kill you, you usually don't stand there gawking at one person. "Fine," Kopa growled. "I didn't plan to get away without a fight anyway," he said with an almost arrogant look on his face.

"Good."
Ebony claws slid into the sand noiselessly as red-furred paws emerged from the oasis' sparse undergrowth. Fronds of the desert's hardy plants rustled as they were brushed aside by the slow thrust of a feline body past them, a whispered choir to Kula's entrance. There was no greater joy to be found than that on the mismatched gaze of the scarred lioness as she locked gazes with her nephew. How lucky she was indeed to be a part of the patrol they'd blundered into? Such was Kula's elation that she didn't even bother with the more strategic decision of blindsiding Kopa. Rather the lioness brought herself into the open smack dab in the middle of his field of vision, a dare sparking in the depths of her demon's eye.
"Hello my boyo," She purred as a paw came up to stroke at the crimson fur fastened around her throat, caressing Simba's mane as though it were a beloved pet. "Come to reunite father and son?"
Head lowered, tail twitching, a smirk on her muzzle; Kula wanted Kopa to launch himself at her.

Kopa groaned. Noooo!
He'd almost forgotten that she was why he came here, at least part of why he came there. Kopa wasn't as prepared as he thought he was. He didn't have to be though as Kula began taunting him. He'd do it right back, it was only fair, right? "Hello, one-eye," he said, a hint of a grin forming across his face. Oh, yeah. He went there. Kopa could still feel the thrill of taking out a Blackblood.
His grin turned into an angry snarl. It was was fast, to fast for anyone to catch. Kopa launched himself at Kula, his claws out. Yep, he fell into her trap, but hey, this was Kopa.
"I'll take out your other eye!" Kopa growled. Fury burned into his limbs as he launched himself at him, almost confident he could overpower Kula again. But when he had, he was in the heat of battle, filled with adrenaline. This wasn't wasn't a battle. And his anger had faded by not seeing Kula for a long time. Even seeing her didn't help him become rageful.
But making fun of him and taunting him with his father's fur was close enough to make him very angry. "That doesn't belong to you, one eye," he growled.

”Ugh!” Tucker found himself slammed against the ground as the lion actually does a roll type move. Tucker doesn’t even have time to stand as Kopa’s claws were upon him, ripping into his muscular shoulder and chest as he releases a cry of pain, blood splashing across the hot sand.
“Grahh! I’ll kill you!” Tucker roars out, struggling to his feet and he would have, had not Kula appeared before them and he knew that Kopa was her kill for what he had done to her eye.

Callista went for Genie, and Tucker and Kula chose the lion. Nasira could only see one end to this, and she expected to see them both torn to shreds.
Callista had Genie on the defensive, yet the lion's skills had not deserted him. Even a rat can bite, and Simba's son did not lack for courage. He shook Tucker off of him and raked his claws down the German shepherd's shoulder and chest. Then, with a flash of angry teeth, he hurled himself at Kula.
Nasira quickly intervened. There was a blast of dark magic, and the lion suddenly went flying out of Kula's paws as if a giant had picked him up and thrown him. He landed head first in the sand and did not get back up. Her spell had stunned him.
With grim satisfaction, Nasira turned away, knowing Kula would happily send her wayward nephew to a darker world - like what she did to his father. Why waste words on the dead?
By the time Nasira reached Callista, she had already dismissed the lion from her mind.
They closed in on the djinn.
