April 30th, Year 1 A large crimson tail slowly flicked back and forth in the snow while odd color hues watched the activity around the camp. A hefty huff left the liger before he moved to stretch out on his perching spot, grunting loudly with an effort as he heaved himself onto large feet. He had stayed pretty much in the background through the month, minding his own business and getting situated fully within the ranks of the growing Dawnseekers. Sure he had bounced around a bit but now he seemed pretty invested in watching a small 'family' within the army. Without much effort Atlas leapt down from his perch moving toward a dark haired figure that looked very family, a small frown pulling at his maw before he cocked his head to the side. "Excuse me but I was wondering if you could spare some time to show me around the camp, or... give me a job perhaps?"

Nevada leant against one of the many trees in the Dawnseeker's camp, watching the hustle and bustle of the camp though his mind was replaying memories of his time beside Jasper and Zamora. For the second time in his life, he felt completely lost and that unsettled him. Zamora's departure had been abrupt and unexpected and it'd left the shapeshifter with an even bigger hole in his heart but at least he could draw comfort from the knowledge he still had Shani to call family and that helped to lessen the aching loss he felt.
The sound of Atlas's voice jerked him out of his reverie, however, and Nevada turned his bright green gaze towards the massive liger, taking a moment to register what Atlas had asked before he gave a small, curt nod and pushed away from the tree.
"Sure I can show you around..."

The feeling of knowing welled heavily in Atlas' chest as Nevada took a moment to respond. The other had been victim to his thoughts just as he was more times than not and it did not help the reaper's curiosity about this strange man in front of him. The liger slowly tilted his head once Nevada pushed away from the tree and brows creased heavily. This man was familiar beyond just that though, as though he had some link to this shifter as he did with the liger child. Odd.
The static noise of remembrance began to heavily stir up trying to connect the dots with no answers. Perhaps if he stayed around the being it would help clear it.
With a soft gesture of his head and a genuine smile, the other gave the okay to lead the way. "Thank you... You must be the person the little princess talks about, Nevada correct?"

Since the revelation of her true parentage Kiara had begun taking more and more interest in her own appearance. As if in response to her knowledge the markings that had once merely smudged through her fur like dirt had grown more pronounced. A pair of stripes not unlike her father's crimson mane bit through light cheeks, accompanied by a pair upon her shoulders and a small smattering on her hind.
Jasper's gift to her, she supposed. Proof to all who knew him that he'd been the one to bring her to the world.
Padding on limbs growing thicker with a young liger's musculature the adolescent found her gaze resting upon yet another of her kind rounding the corner of one of the many newly-built longhouses.
Atlas, accompanied by the mate of her late father. A single ear flicked in a moment of uncertainty before Kiara continued forward to greet the pair with a friendly smile. "Good morning."
