Personality: Despite holding a cynical world view, Reuben is typically friendly and always loyal to family and friends, though he can become crabby if disturbed. He has many powers, the catch is he's too lazy and cowardly to want to use them, preferring instead to focus what little energy he has on making and consuming sandwiches. Despite being such a powerful experiment, Reuben's actually pretty humble about it and has never seen the need to talk about or use his powers.
Reuben has a mind like a steel trap and knowledge of every experiment created before him, as well as Stitch. And though he's generally disinterested in using his powers, it doesn't mean he won't. He's capable of heroics. He's simply disinterested in actually taking a side in the war. Sure, he's technically on the side of the Rogues, but he really only sees his cook's position as nothing more than a job. If the Rogues were on the path to total annihilation, he'd be the first to quit. Though it doesn't mean he isn't capable of compassion. He does have a sensitive side, though others will never see it.
Backstory: Reuben was the 625th experiment created by mad scientist Jumba Jookiba. Though he had a variety of powers, powers later given to his younger cousin Stitch, Reuben's cowardice and laziness made him unwilling to use these powers. So he made sandwiches instead. As a result, he became Jumba's assistant, which mostly involved making a lot of sandwiches. In this position, he learned about each and every one of the other 624 experiments. When Jumba was arrested, Reuben, along with the 624 other experiments, was deactivated and smuggled in pod form onto Earth, specifically the Hawaiian Islands. He was reactivated by Hamsterivel and Gantu in an attempt to torture Jumba, but he declined. When Gantu crashed onto Kauai Island, Reuben became his roommate, often mocking the disgraced captain for each and every failure to capture one of his cousins.
Gantu eventually abandoned him on Kauai to break Hamsterviel out of prison. He later met with Lilo, who gave him his name and convinced him to help her in the battle against Hamsterviel and the Leroys. After this ordeal, Gantu earned his status back and instated Reuben as his Galley officer. They were later fired from the Armada for bad karaoke, and Gantu went back to working for Hamsterviel. The pair then moved to Izayoi island in Japan. They were eventually arrested and thrown into prison, though Reuben got out early on good behavior (and sandwiches). He found his way to France, hoping to score some croissant sandwiches. It was here that he also found a job as a cook for the Rogues, considering his experience as Galley officer of the Galactic Armada. Oh he's capable of being an assassin even, but why bother? Making sandwiches is way more fun.
