Kopa awoke in the dark room. He blinked his eyes in pain. Where was he? He tried to recount what hat happened and almost shot up in horror. Oh no! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! He was captured by the Blackbloods, his worst enemies. He doubled over in pain. Agh, stupid necromancer. He tried to shake the pain off, and it subsided some. it was almost completely dark, and cold, but Kopa didn't mind that. At least he let Genie escape before he was captured. Yeah, he knew that it was a stupid idea to come here. But he couldn't shake the feeling he came here for something else other than saving Aladdin. He needed to get out of here, nevertheless. He looked around for some way of escape, but there didn't seem to be. He clawed at the ground in frustration. He hissed though as the throbbing from before had returned. He took a deep breath and calmed himself down some so he could think. But he couldn't think of anything. No doubt that they would try to juice information out of him, but would he tell them? Heck no! He'd rather die. He paced around the dungeon, looking annoyed, but clearly unaffected by the pain. Then, he sat down again. Kopa hoped that Genie would get to Canada safely and soon, or he didn't know what would happen. That sort of uncertainty scared him. And Kopa didn't scare easy. He'd have to try and be as impossible as possible. He could do that. That was something he was good at. What could they possibly do? The ex-prince was not unsettled or scared. Just angry and strangely calm. He had to have had a smug look on his face for whatever reason. It disappeared as an angry look replaced it.
He was looking down at the ground now, thinking of how to get out of this dire situation.

Through blue streaks of velvet shadow gentle footsteps padded, breaking the silence of the dungeon with the barest scrape of pawpad against quarried stone. Light fell in angled dapples from barred windows to bathe the Agrabah underground in soft shadows that quickly devolved into the pitch of deep night.
Down the staircase descended the first of Kopa's newest "friends of the other side". Night and shadow turned crimson fur to a mottling of purple and silver from which the light of her eyes glowed with a baleful gleam. One eye held the mortal reflection of any predator of the night, turning Kula's iris to a red mirror whenever a bit of light caught in her sight. The other needed no other source to emit its own hellish glow; this one a blue smoke that shone iridescent as it rose from the lioness' scarred left eye.
Kula's tail twined upon itself in a betrayal of her excitement as she came to a halt. Before her sat Simba's firstborn. Bound to the wall by a chain. Completely at her mercy.
Licking at her chops and lowering her head Kula waited in silence for her compatriots to descend.

Kopa wished he was unbound because if he was, he could have smacked Kula right on the face. Then clawed out her other eye. But he wasn't unbound. He was chained. He watched Kula with cold blue eyes. If only he hadn't been shot down, he could have gotten a hit at her. The lion wasn't regretting his decision to leave Canada. He would later on, but at the moment, he thought he hadn't done an idiotic thing.
His lip curled back into a snarl. Even in chains, he looked angry. Not scared. There was not a hint of fear in his eyes. There never would be. Or at least, he thought so. At first, he didn't say a word. He didn't have much to say, did he? The way Kula entered made him feel a sense of dread, but it quickly disappeared.
But something, maybe his arrogance, made him want to talk. Standing in front of him was the person who had killed his father, after all. It seemed like a dream when he had been obsessing over who had done it. But then he was hit with bombshell after bombshell of information that he didn't find good. "So, One-Eye," he said, calling her his new nickname. "Enjoy having only one eye?"

For a long moment Kula's face was still as steel and cold as the metal it so resembled. One-Eye. How original.
How... Irritating.
With a growl Kula's paw flashed out to wrap around Kopa's muzzle, capturing his lower jaw in a rough grip.
The lioness took no care to gentle her claws, though she wasn't looking to maim -- yet -- nor did she care if her unsheathed talons caused him any pain. In a single swift movement Kula lifted the male to her face, the tips of their noses pressing together. It might have almost been intimate had the expression on Kula's face held lust rather than bloodlust in her grin. "I'd be more careful with my words if I were you, dear nephew."
"Magic is a lovely thing, y'know? It can put an eye back good as new -- better than new even. So maybe I should thank you. But as it so happens I've been chosen to show you our sweet hospitality. That means pissing me off? That might just cost you your own eye. But there'll be no magic to replace it." Kula's voice was a sultry purr, as though the thought of maiming Kopa were the sweetest of treats.
"Or... Maybe..." Kula's grin cracked across her maw to bare fangs like the sharp shards of a broken vase.
"Maybe I will use magic on you. You can lay there, unable to fight, unable to move, unable to even scream or beg. Barely able to breathe. You'll lay there in complete silence as I carve your body apart..."
Kula's voice rose as she spoke, quickening with excitement. "Oh, you'll still feel everything. That I'll make sure of. But you'll be completely helpless as I take you to the brink of death again and again and again, dragging you back any time it seems like you might escape me into the void! It really is a shame that your blue buffoon friend left you to die here. Don't worry though -- I won't let you die for a LONG time."
"Just imagine, my dear sweet nephew! How much FUN we're going to have together!!"

At first, Kopa was very annoyed. He winced as her sharp talon-like claws gripped under his chin. An angry glare flared in his eyes, but it soon died out, and his eyes started to widen. Jeez, this lioness was insane. Was Kopa's first thought. As Kula continued, however, Kopa's eyes started to dart nervously around the room, looking for any way of escape. When he found none, a sense of dread greater than before settled in his gut.
The more Kula spoke, the wider Kopa's eyes got. Kopa did not scare easily. But she succeeded in making him feel dread. Horror was all that Kopa's expression could hold. How sick was this lioness? Apparently, he got his answer. He jerked his head out of her grip.
The red-maned lion felt his whole body go slack with horror and terror. He had no control over it. None whatsoever. Was this a good idea after all? No, Kopa was starting to realize. He had made a huge mistake. Just by the look in her eyes, he could see the bloodlust. His blue eyes were completely wide now. The more he started the think about, the more he wondered if this was how she taunted his dad before she killed him.
That thought made him angry and terrified at the same time. Oh, how he wanted to mouth off to her, but he was paralyzed.

The silence stretched between lion and lioness for a long moment as Kula allowed Kopa's muzzle to tear free from her grip. Eyes narrowed and tail lashing she simply stared, that sick smile growing.
So he'd chosen silence rather than to mouth off at her again.
"That's the smartest thing you've done yet." Her purr was silky -- right before she clubbed him upside the head, claws sheathed as she swatted with enough force to rattle his brain and throw him against the brick wall. "But will it be your only one?"

In all honesty, Kopa wanted to smile. In this horrid situation, Kopa wanted to smile. Maybe out of fear? Or out of pure insanity of what was about to happen? Of course, Kopa didn't smile, as he was clubbed on the head hard enough to make him want to pass out. He almost did too. But he shook his head and growled.
His head rattled, as well as his brain, and he had to stop himself from falling backward. He wanted to scream but instead went for a simple, "Ow," Then, he gave Kula a cocky smile. Which came out of nowhere.
"You hit... like a girl," he grunted.
