Frei doesn't have much in the way of a personality, being a fairly simple animal. She doesn't even speak. Frei appears to be single-minded and somewhat feisty. Primarily her focus is survival and, while she isn't necessarily stupid, can be coaxed into giving desired responses if given rewards such as food. She does not like to be touched suddenly or approached from behind. Frei is extremely vocal. She can be violent if harassed but will otherwise simply fly away from annoyances if not made very angry. Because she is fond of roosting upside-down in strange places and swooping at things, Frei can be quite an annoyance herself.

Backstory:
Frei was brought from the far off prehistoric sanctuary in Fantasia as an oddity to add to the menagerie owned by the French royalty. At one point, Frei escaped captivity and has adapted to the stone structures of Paris, using them in much the same way as she would the shoreline banks of her homeland. Occasionally there have been attempts to use Frei as a mount, though she must always be broken first, like a bucking bronco, before she allows someone to ride her.
