Physical Description: A towering, hulking figure, Gantu stands over most other forms of terrestrial life on Earth. Completing his gigantic stature is a level of musculature that puts him on equal mass to whales, and other large marine life. Towering stature and bulk are no all that Gantu shares in terms of appearance with the cetaceans of the earth's oceans, his alien physiology is very similar in the way the skeletal and muscular structure form his head. Other than his cetacean like head, Gantu is vaguely humanoid in physiology save for his skin being grey and rubber-like to the touch, and he posses only four appendages on his hand than the five humans have.
Owing in large part to his unique build, Gantu options for attire span little beyond his Galactic Federation security uniform. The garbs are a set of a black sleeveless shirt and trousers, detailed with burgundy on the main garments themselves. A red belt and silver guards for both wrists are the finishing elements of the service uniform. Pending the nature of the current situation a holster housing his Federation blaster is attached to the belt.
Personality: Though it may seem at odds with his former position as captain of security forces for the Galactic Federation, Gantu has little reservations in regards to collateral damages. Though not an outright destructive or extremely violent individual, he has no qualms if some losses must be endured, or some things must be knocked down in order to achieve operational success. Furthermore, his nigh dogmatic devotion to a task can result in Gantu overlooking other possibilities besides what is clearly black and white. Circumstances and reasoning do not excuse the crime, and he more often than not doesn't seek to uncover more than the scope of his task.
Despite these traits built up over a lifetime of service, Gantu is not entirely naive in his cause. While respectful and compliant enough with most superiors, he can and has partaken varying degrees of limited rebellion to those who continuously berate and belittle him. That level of pride is an exploitable weakness in him, as he can be goated into rash action by rivals and enemies alike by insults and mocking of his peers. On the contrary, however, Gantu can be a rather loyal and steadfast ally to those who treat him with respect.
Off the clock, Gantu is to a degree an oddity, as despite his temperament and pride the former captain thoroughly enjoys surprising physical activities such as human dancing. A bit of a health nut, even after having lived on Earth for several years, Gantu finds himself surprised by some of the things humans will consume and there is a fair selection of Earth fairs he will not consume.
Backstory: With his homeworld being one of the key members of the Galactic Federation, Gantu would be caught up in the greater opportunity prospects found off-world. The conditions found on his planet, and imposed by his upbringing would shape him into having the attributes of a warrior than a diplomat, and he would formally enlist in the Federation’s security forces upon completion of his education. Over the next galactic decades, Gantu would serve the federation across the vast expanse of spaces comprising the various member worlds. Eventually, however, his hard work would pay off Gantu would have climbed over the lower ranks to reach Captain, and henceforth only answered directly to the Galactic Council.
It was in this capacity that Gantu would eventually come across the casus belli of his downfall in the eyes of the Federation and which would trouble him for years to come, in the form of illegal genetic experiments of scientists Jumba Jookiba and Jacques von Hamersterviel. Tasked with the capture of the first experiments known to the Galaxy at large experiment 626, Gantu would first come to the planet Earth. However, his endeavors on the planet went without lasting success, and the Grand Councilwoman fires him for his overly aggressive methods.
Having aptitude and knowledge for little else but paramilitary work, Gantu would eventually return to Earth in the service of Hamsterviel to try and secure the experiments for the other's galactic domination plans. However, 626, now operating with the alias Stitch, in conjuncture with his allies would thwart and undo any measure of success Gantu can obtain. Eventually released from his terms with Hamsterviel after breaking the latter out of prison and helping finish completion of his replacement in the new experiment Leroy, Gantu would change allegiances and work with his former enemies to stop Hamsterviel.
Briefly readmitted into his hold Federation position with the one experiment he would consider a friend, Rueben, Gantu was ultimately fired for poor karaoke. This was followed by another stint in the service of Hamsterviel which again ended in his defeat and incarceration. Eventually, upon his release Gantu would return to Earth, having grown fond of some customs and attributes of planets despite his attempts to hold the planet in disdain. Seeing the eruption of large scale conflict, Gantu would enlist with the Blackblood Legion aiming to put his experience to work with the side most aligned to his line of thinking.
